Phoenix, AZ company history timeline

2003

In 2003, Family Service completed a capital campaign and found a new home at 702 San Pedro Ave, which continues to serve as headquarters.

2006

2006: Began renting the building that once was HK Williams Elementary School.

2011

2013

2013 The Supporting Families with Children Who Have Special Needs program implemented through Family Support Network™ of North Carolina regional affiliate programs.

2015

As of 2015, CFS also receives support through a newly established major gifts initiative known as the Stronger Families Fund.

2016

2016 purchased the Neighborhood Place and became renovations of the building

2019

The grand re-opening of Family Service Neighborhood Place, our community center on the Westside of San Antonio in 2019.

2021

Today, ACF is one of 11 operating divisions in HHS. The agency has the second largest budget within HHS — over $62 billion in FY 2021.
