Children's Minnesota child psychologist job description
Primary role focused on providing outpatient therapy to hospital and clinic referred patients. Patients are referred from Primary Care as well as a number of specialty clinics (e.g., Feeding, Diabetes, Concussion, Genetics, Cardiac, Neurodevelopmental Services).
The position will also entail a role in inpatient consultation and liaison. Common referral concerns are depression, anxiety, disruptive behavior problems, adjustment to chronic illnesses or complex medical conditions, medical treatment non-adherence, anxieties related to procedures or ongoing cares, and psychosocial pain management.
The ideal candidate would also be interested in providing supervision in our postdoctoral fellowship.
The Psychological Services department provides services on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. Specific services include individual and family therapy, psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and inpatient consultation and liaison. We also have pediatric psychologists embedded in a number of specialty clinics. Annually, we care for over 2,200 children with a primary reason for a visit related mental health concern in our two emergency departments, and complete 23,000 outpatient visits in our behavioral health clinics.

**Position description**
Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota is seeking a full-time Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinical Psychologist for pediatrics to join our team at the Eastridge Clinic. The IBH Child Psychologist will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide short-term, evidence based mental health services within the primary care pediatric setting. The IBH Child Psychologist is an integrated part of the care team who sees patients in collaboration with primary care providers. This position will provide psychological intervention, assessment, consultation, and treatment planning with children and their families.
**License or certification**
Must have a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-approved training program and internship, will be eligible for licensure in Minnesota. ABPP Board Certification or plans to become ABPP Board Certified within three years of start date is required. Interest and experience in program development and evaluation is preferred.
