Advise hospital leadership on legal considerations surrounding digital transformation initiatives, innovation adoption, and strategic partnerships with technology providers. Collaborate with hospital IT and security teams to develop policies and protocols for safeguarding patient data and critical systems. Advise on incident response plans, breach notification procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. Stay abreast of emerging threats and evolving best practices. Provide legal support for hospital-wide policies on technology use, social media, device management, remote work, mobile access to sensitive information, and enterprise risk for information technology. Ensure policies reflect current legal requirements and operational needs. Support the hospital in managing disputes or litigation related to technology vendors, data breaches, intellectual property claims, and other technology-related matters. Coordinate with litigation counsel as needed. Supervision Exercised This position does not supervise other employees. RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate ability to assimilate data from a wide range of observations and use various clinical techniques and skills in gathering the client's personal, family, medical, and psychiatric histories. Establish short-term goals with clients, provide follow-up services as needed, and make appropriate/expeditious referrals. Provide home visits and other outreach services to schools and other agencies/providers that are necessary and appropriate. Thoroughly screen referrals to assure proper utilization of Outpatient Services. Promptly and accurately complete clinical records and all collateral forms as necessary and required. Arrange for hospitalization of clients, either on a voluntary or involuntary basis, and thoroughly assess to assure that it is the least restrictive alternative. In facilitating a patient's admission, Crisis Worker must accurately assess for special needs and alert other staff and/or physician to the apparent needs of the patient. Complete all paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound and timely as prescribed by the OAR's and other pertinent guidelines. Required to ensure that all paperwork is present, and/or the client record is well maintained. Attend trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. as directed by administration and use the information gathered to benefit the agency and the customers. Assist other clinicians in the facilitation of groups as requested. If varianced, provide intensive children's treatment services. Utilize agency software/computer systems to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required. Transports clients as required Administer forms for urinalysis testing (UA's), provide accurate information on the UA's to clients, in some cases observes the UA, and record all pertinent information. Conducts interviews in homes, schools, hospitals, and other community settings as required. Assessment shall include pertinent information collection from all parties regarding alleged maltreatment, surrounding circumstances, adult and child functioning, parenting practice and discipline to ensure an accurate safety determination. * In consultation with supervisor, conducts informed response to Intake Reports, assesses and determines child safety at every contact, identifies present and impending danger threats to child safety, and determines the disposition of the Intake Report within mandatory time frames. * Gathers information and analyzes parent/caregiver/placement provider protective capacities. * Partners with family and/or treatment team to develop and implement safety plans (present danger and impending danger) for children determined not to be safe. * When necessary, seeks medical evaluation of alleged child victims and completes referrals to law enforcement * Responsible for written documentation of assessment activities within required time frames including but not limited to Safety and Family Assessments, Ongoing and Specialized Assessments, Activity Logs, and Present Danger and Impending Danger Safety Plans. * Responsible for other mandated paperwork as outlined by state regulations and agency policy. * Consults with the Prosecutors office and seeks Court intervention as needed. Our Camp Counselor positions have the potential to serve as competitively paid internships that meet your course credit needs. First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. As an Intern, you will be expected to fulfill your regular daily job responsibilities and it will be up to you to complete your internship responsibilities and to ensure that they do not interfere with your work obligations. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits.
