Job Description
This position is full-time nights at our Arthur M. Blank hospital. Works under the direction of the Behavioral & Mental Health (BMH) Clinical Operations Manager to facilitate daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, safe patient care, and to promote a healthy work environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
Preferred Qualifications
* 1 year of management/administrative experience in a healthcare setting
* Experience in pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing experience
Education
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certification Summary
* Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
* Marcus Crisis Prevention Program Tier 5 training within 90 days of employment
* Professional Nursing Certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire

* Participates in educational process related to delivery of healthcare.
* Maintains own professional development.
* Fosters professional development of others via constructive performance feedback, input, and coaching.
* Understands and supports Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's nursing career advancement program, My Nursing Career Path, as well as BMH Tech advancement.
