Job Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Intern will work with IAM staff to learn how identity plays into the larger information security picture. The IAM intern will work on projects specific to identity creation/management and access control management, as applied in a healthcare setting at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
The IAM intern's project will focus on assisting IAM engineer(s) with access control clean-up in the on-premises Active Directory. Work efforts will be based on reporting delivered to the IAM Team from Varonis, the tool used to manage access to unstructured data (primarily the Children's P: Drive) at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
The Children's Summer Intern program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning and support, logistics, data base management, research, and analysis. Interns may explore career paths and apply for full-time positions upon successful completion of the program.
Experience
* Research area: research experience necessary either through previous internship, work experience, or course work; practical knowledge about the conduct of research principals required
Preferred Qualifications
* Progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, information systems, or cybersecurity/information security
Education
Clinical Focus:

The Division of Animal Resources, within the Emory National Primate Research Center at Emory University Field Station (Lawrenceville, Georgia), is currently seeking Animal Care Trainees to join our team. Our work consists of providing husbandry and care for a large colony of nonhuman primates in an open campus-type setting. In addition to the husbandry and care duties and responsibilities, trainees are also trained to assist veterinary staff, colony management staff, and behavioral management staff. Once trained, Animal Care Trainees are assigned to an alternating weekend and holiday schedule.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, extremely dependable, reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude and passion for animal care in a research environment. The Animal Care Trainee will be a team player who is willing to learn on the job and collaborate with coworkers and other departments at the facility. The Animal Care Trainee will work to ensure the highest quality of husbandry and care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operates cage washers and ensures that equipment is in proper working order.

GPSSample is a free Android app for rapid assessments and household surveys that facilitates rapid statistical sampling in the field. It is a game-changer for the global health community! Spend up to 10 hours a week walking neighborhoods and testing all 4 roles as an administrator, supervisor, enumerator, and data collector.
We will provide the Android devices required. The tester will follow a closely designed standard operating testing procedure, identify any issues with newly enhanced features, and report these using the team's Jira site. You will use the full suite of GPSSample tools, including the GPSSample app, the GPSSample Decoder, and the Quarto Summary guide.

Job Description
The Data Governance Intern will partner with Data & Analytics leadership to create frameworks for both an enterprise metric library and a dashboard governance lifecycle program. * Assessing dashboard inventory (Qlik/Power BI, Epic, Workday, other tools) and use AI to enhance metadata on these assets

Description
Works under the supervision of a registered dietitian to gain practical experience in various areas of nutrition and dietetics. Learn to provide nutrition education, participate in food service management, providing nutrition care, counseling, and developing meal plans.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
* Assist Registered Dietitians in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for patients across diverse populations and conditions.
* Conduct nutrition screenings, collect patient data, and document findings in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) following hospital policies.
* Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
* Observe and contribute to outpatient nutrition counseling and education sessions.
* Support food service operations by assisting with menu planning, special diets, sanitation audits, and production oversight.
* Engage in community outreach and education programs as assigned.
* Complete assigned projects, case studies, and presentations as part of academic and site requirements.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
By the end of this internship, the Dietetic Intern will:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 0 to 1 year (less than 2080 hours) of experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care inpatient setting, long term care facility, long term acute care facility, rehabilitation facility, and/or outpatient nutrition program. Credentialed as a registered dietitian with CDR. Licensed in the state of Georgia as a licensed dietitian. If dietitian does not currently possess RD and/or LD credential, must obtain within 2 months of hire.

Job Summary: The Spiritual Health Intern Unpaid is an educational program to achieve one unit of education towards the four total units of education towards Chaplain certification as credentialed by the Associate of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Job Description
The Children's Care Network Internship with our pediatric clinically integrated network offers a unique opportunity for a driven intern to learn about and support value-based care initiatives. The intern will focus on analyzing clinical performance data and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes and network efficiency. The intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, strategic planning, and effective communication within a healthcare network, enhancing their understanding of value-based care and population health management.
Responsibilities will include:
* Contributing to a strategic plan addressing a specific clinical issue impacting population health, such as asthma, behavioral mental health (BMH), social determinants of health (SDOH), or autism, based on the network's current needs.
* Delivering a comprehensive report detailing data analysis findings and a strategic plan with targeted interventions
* Presenting findings and proposed strategy to the network leadership team
Measurable outcomes will be assessed by the successful completion of the strategic plan to meet one of the network's 2026 goals. Other projects and tasks will be assigned as appropriate.
The Children's Summer Intern Program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning and support, logistics, data base management, research, and analysis. Interns may explore career paths and apply for full-time positions upon successful completion of the program.
Experience
* Research area: research experience necessary either through previous internship, work experience, or course work; practical knowledge about the conduct of research principals required
Preferred Qualifications
* Progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, or related field
* Experience working with healthcare and/or financial data
Education
Clinical Focus:
* College student with at least two years in a health sciences related program, such as pre-med, nursing, biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, or statistics, or post graduate student working toward a Master's of Science in public health or medical degree
Non-Clinical Focus:
* College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related field, required

* Master's Degree or Specialty certification (Board Certified Specialist Gerontological Nutrition, Board Certified Specialist Renal Nutrition, Board Certified Specialist Oncology Nutrition, Board Certified Specialist Obesity and Weight Management, Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, Advanced Practice Certification in Clinical Nutrition).
