You get to go on trips and do recreational stuff with the kids. Also made decent connections there.
Workplace was very cliquey and some of my coworkers and my assistant supervisor were unhelpful. I would be stuck with five out of seven kids at times while the rest of the staff stayed in the house, watching tv with two children. Would radio for help and almost always got no assistance.
The pay was good.
Did not feel safe and I feel I was surrounded by unhappy co workers who complained frequently about the organization
I wish I was able to stay long enough to make connections with the children and young adults there.
