Overview Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour days. Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Quality Improvement Coordinator II supports the Accreditation & Licensing team in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for hospital surveys, including CMS, DNV, and CDPH. This role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, optimizing unit rounding processes, tracking corrective action plans, and conducting audits to identify compliance gaps. The coordinator will assist with survey preparation and on-site coverage, as well as develop reports and presentations for leadership and regulatory bodies. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2+ years' experience in hospital survey response. Combination of work experience in a hospital and data analysis experience. The ARS must be willing to rotate with 2-3 other lab mates to maintain cell cultures over the weekends. The ARS will also assist in lab managerial duties (e.g. lab ordering, troubleshooting broken equipment, etc). In addition, the ARS will have the opportunity to present at lab meetings, lead a project(s) and be a co-author or first author on publication(s). This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual interested in expanding skill sets in a wet laboratory setting and/or pursuing a PhD or MD/PhD in the future.
