Functions within the MedicalAssistant scope of practice and under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed healthcare provider (MD, NP, RN, LPN) during performance of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks. Reports to department leadership.
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks within the MedicalAssistant scope of practice only and under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed health care provider.
* Provides appropriate clinical and non-clinical information to facilitate visit process.
* Maintains sterility and cleanliness of the environment.
* Maintains supplies, equipment and instruments.
* Supports and performs clerical functions as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
* Current registration/certification as a MedicalAssistant, higher level clinical certification (LPN, RN, or higher), or military medical experience with MA certification/registration required.
* CPR training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
* MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Graduate of an approved accredited allied health program or clinical program.
* One to two years of experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
* Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
* WORKING CONDITIONS
* Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures. Exposure to communicable diseases and moderately adverse working conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities can be expected.

It is one of only two Centers for Comprehensive MS Care in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Patients have access to complete diagnostic testing specifically designed for MS and emerging therapies available through clinical trials. They receive assistance with appointments and scheduling, providing convenience by allowing for multiple consultations in one visit

About the Role
As a Belmont Village Caregiver, you will provide hands-on personal assistance to a group of seniors living within our large Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The Caregiver role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, patient, caring and enjoys a high level of personal engagement with older adults.
Your Typical Daily Responsibilities
Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being
Document care and services provided daily by following customized service plans and communicating to supervisor any observed changes in care needs
Ensure care, safety and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance
Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends and holidays

About the Role
As a Belmont Village Caregiver, you will provide hands-on personal assistance to a group of seniors living within our large Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The Caregiver role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, patient, caring and enjoys a high level of personal engagement with older adults.
Your Typical Daily Responsibilities
Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being
Document care and services provided daily by following customized service plans and communicating to supervisor any observed changes in care needs

Summary:

Responsibilities:
