Full-Time 171 Kempsville Rd. Advanced Practice Days 51.2200 Through 76.8300 * Engages in activities constituting the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction, clinical guidance and supervision of a licensed physician. This individual will primarily function within the main hospital when work volumes are high, but will be asked to perform duties in clinics when hospital work volumes are low. This individual will occasionally act as a first assistant in the operating room (OR) when the need arises and collaborate with the OR staff to develop the knowledge, skill, and critical thinking necessary to assist in performing a safe operation. Additional responsibilities include conducting hospital rounds, assisting with OR orders and checks, handling Urgent Care OR transfers, and performing hospital and emergency department consults. Runs clinics independently or under physician supervision. Reports to supervising physician(s) and designated manager.
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice with effective utilization of healthcare resources.

* LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
* Current State license as an APRN or PA with specialization in Family or Pediatrics.
* PhysicianAssistants - Current National Commission on Certification of PhysicianAssistants (NCCPA) certification required.
* Nurse Practitioner - Current certification from the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board (ONCB) preferred.
* CPR training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
* PALS training obtained and maintained within 90 days of hire.
* MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
* Required to maintain State licensure, certification (NCCPA) for PA only, and educational and employment application requirements as a PA or NP during employment.
* Two to three years of PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
* Two to three years of Pediatric experience preferred.
* Previous OR experience preferred.
* Execution of Non-Competition, Confidentiality and Non Solicitation Agreement required for specialty assigned / hired into.
* Ability to travel locally between hospital and clinics required.

Serves as the primary clinical support for the infusion center when assigned. Duties include management of infusion reactions, patient care needs presented by nursing and pharmacy, coverage of triage issues and assessments, and critical lab and radiology results.
Formulate and implement survivorship care plans for all curable cancer patients.
Identify and initiate referrals to palliative care.
Collaborate with the palliative care team for management of patient's ongoing care.
Communicates positively and effectively with patients, families, physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
Coordinates patient care with PCP and specialty providers when appropriate.
Provides detailed education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, goals of therapy, expectations, and treatment related side effects and management.
Develop a comprehensive plan of care in collaboration with the attending oncologist to include selection of appropriate pharmacologic agents, referrals, and end of life care.
Inpatient oncology and hematology acute care coverage to include rapid assessment and treatment of acutely ill oncology/hematology patients.
Collaborate with medical oncologist and inpatient disciplines to determine the most appropriate level of care.
Assist in the admission and discharge of patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy in collaboration with the attending oncology physician.
Administration of intrathecal chemotherapy in collaboration with interventional radiology.
Provide after-hours call coverage as part of a rotating schedule to include phone triage, clinical decision-making, and urgent inpatient/outpatient concerns in conjunction with on-call oncologist.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Previous experience in oncology as clinician or nursing required.
Licensure as an advanced practice clinician (PA or NP) in the state of Delaware or ability to obtain with offer letter.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtains medical history and perform physical examinations
Performs clinical assessments and develop treatment plan
Initiates, monitors, and adjust medications in accordance with the EP APP/APP Practice Agreement
Manages patients with complex cardiovascular diseases
Orders and evaluate laboratory, diagnostic, and radiographic tests
Completes medical records and billing at the end of each day
Performs interrogation and appropriate reprogramming of Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED)
Coordinates care with rounding EP physician or office-based EP physician

The Opportunity
Pine Park Health is looking for part time or full time Nurse Practitioners responsible for delivering care in our San Diego - California market. What You'll Do
Provide onsite primary care services to older adults living in Senior Living Communities
Develop and execute detailed person-centered care plans on all primary care patients
Work with Medical Director to identify and develop policies to address issues that arise which affect day to day practice, culture or clinical guidelines, including for emerging disease(s)
Provide monthly Chronic Care Management (CCM) visits and care; review and sign off on CCM documentation
Run regular huddles and provide leadership to the clinical team
Identify ways of working with senior living management and care teams to better carry out Pine Park care plans and improve patient outcomes

Position Overview
The Breast Surgical Oncology PA plays a vital role in the delivery of efficient, high-quality, and compassionate care for patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for breast cancer. The PA will collaborate closely with the surgeon in the clinic, operating room, and hospital settings, supporting both surgical oncology and reconstructive procedures. Over time, the role offers graduated autonomy in managing patient care.
Essential Functions
Participate in clinic, inpatient rounds, progress notes, and discharge planning.
First assist in surgical procedures including lumpectomies, mastectomies, sentinel and axillary lymph node dissections, and oncoplastic reconstructions.
Perform bedside and post-op procedures such as drain removals, injections
