This part time social work position supports patients and families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The social workers in the NICU are a vital member of the multidisciplinary team that cares for the patients and families. The social work team in the NICU meets with all families who have a child admitted. The successful candidate should have strong crisis interventions skills, ability to build trusting relationships with a culturally diverse population, competencies in maternal mental health, grief and bereavement support, knowledge of community resources.
The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 8\:30am - 5pm.
