    The FIT Clinician provides intensive, community-based behavioral health services to children and youth (under 21) with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families. As part of a multidisciplinary team with Family Partners and Paraprofessionals, the Clinician delivers evidence-based treatment, crisis intervention, and family therapy aligned with the CBHI/FIT model. Care is family-driven, youth-guided, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed to promote stability, resilience, and improved well-being. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide intensive family therapy, individual therapy, and caregiver sessions in homes and community settings. • Complete comprehensive assessments (including CANS) and develop strengths-based, culturally responsive treatment plans. • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve youth functioning and family dynamics; reduce reliance on higher levels of care. • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization to maintain youth/family safety in the community. • Coordinate care with Family Partners, Paraprofessionals, schools, medical providers, and community agencies. • Maintain timely, accurate documentation compliant with agency, CBHI, and MassHealth standards. • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and required trainings to ensure fidelity to the FIT model. • Communicate proactively with families; offer advocacy and system-navigation support. • Provide consultation/support to community partners regarding behavioral health needs. • Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. REQUIREMENTS Must-Haves • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. • Massachusetts license or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT). • 2+ years' clinical experience with children, youth, and families (home/community settings preferred). • Demonstrated trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice. • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills; crisis intervention and family engagement experience. • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office. • Current CANS (or ability to obtain prior to start, per program policy). • Valid driver's license, insured reliable vehicle, and ability to travel locally; ability to work some evenings/weekends and participate in on-call rotation. CSR's mission is to bring peace of mind to families across Massachusetts, providing housing for homeless families, culturally attuned behavioral health services, foster care for abused and neglected children, affordable childcare for homeless children, and youth development programs. CSR works with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide direct services and support to Parents/Guardians and their children. CSR provides immediate concrete services, which include support in parenting, family medical, mental health and community access supports, educational/vocational career assistance, as well as supports with legal issues: domestic violence, probation obligations, court ordered CRA issues and follow-through. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Weekly home visits with families, at times after 5pm. Meeting and connecting with each parent where they are Weekly collaboration with collaterals (DCF, Service providers, etc.) Response to emergencies such as Child Crises, Hospitalizations, Emergency Meetings, School Meetings, etc. when necessary DCF Case Conference participation Professional representation and work ethic always Appropriate attitude and team spirit in the office and in the community Appropriate boundaries in relationships external to CSR (Parents, children, DCF providers) Maintaining case management files Referral information with DCF contacts received with Parent/Guardian and child, goals to be achieved Credible System: Weekly written narratives of home visits over the period of contract. Written documentation of calls/contacts by telephone (daily/weekly) Produce Monthly Reports Virtual Gateway System: Completion and implementation of Treatment Plans (each 3-month period) w/appropriate activities against the goals identified by DCF, Complete Progress Review (each 3 month period) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related Human Services field required. The FIT service is designed for MassHealth youth under 21 with serious emotional challenges. It is delivered by a specialized team of clinicians, paraprofessionals, family partners and includes access to prescribers and behavioral therapists. About the Role Under the direction of the Senior Director, the FIT Senior Clinician oversees the delivery of Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) services under CBHI, providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to FIT clinicians and staff. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care for youth services to children under the age of 21 with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), SUD, ASD, IDD and their families under the CBHI framework. How You Will Be Making a Difference * Complete review of FIT records in accordance with CBHI specifications * Oversee FIT specific referrals and make assignments * Monitor documentation compliance and service delivery outcomes * Review and approve clinical assessments and treatment plans to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with CBHI and agency standards. * Facilitate individual, dyad, and group supervision, weekly supervision, and regular staff meetings and training as required. * Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring to FIT clinicians and staff * Participate in staffing meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team discussions * Support with crisis intervention and stabilization efforts as needed * Carry a caseload of 1-3 clients * Facilitate daily "Wrap Rounds" * Deliver intensive family therapy to youth and family in their home or chosen community-based setting * Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of the youth and family * Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments inclusive of the CANS and CRAFFT * Maintains timely and accurate documentation in the program's eHR per agency, MCE, and CBHI guidelines * Maintains ongoing communication with families, collaborates with CBHI services, schools, and providers, and meets with assigned youth and families 3-5 times weekly to ensure coordinated care. * Convenes monthly meetings with youth, family, providers, clinicians, and school representatives * Provide crisis stabilization and safety planning for at-risk youth and families. * Other duties as assigned Driving Requirements * Driving required or must have access to own mode of transportation * If transporting clients, then a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required Education and Experience * Master's degree in social work, mental health, or related discipline * Licensure in clinical field (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC LMFT, LADC 1) * Experience with supervising others preferred * Skilled in guiding staff to support families navigating child- and family-serving systems, with expertise in advocacy for families involved in behavioral health services * Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills * Must maintain certification in the Massachusetts CANS * Preferably knowledgeable about the communities we serve * Fluency in a second language (eg. The School Support Counselor is expected to be knowledgeable of the school's therapeutic mission, treatment philosophy, and educational and behavioral support policies and procedures in order to implement this understanding in their direct care and supervision of clients. The School Shift Counselor is responsible for maintaining supervision of the school's classroom and out-of-classroom spaces while working in a collaborative school team to apply intervention strategies based on student IEP and treatment goals to engage out-of-class students with co-regulation strategies to help them rejoin classes quickly and appropriately.
