Job DescriptionChildren's Therapy Place, Inc. is recruiting for an InterventionSpecialist at our Boise clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.

The InterventionSpecialist RoleThe InterventionSpecialist provides direct intervention for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in the home, center, or community setting. InterventionSpecialists work with children to develop positive behaviors and the skills they need to function in a typical home and community environment.
Daily Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 behavior intervention to clients, between the ages of 3 to 21, with developmental disabilities.
Record daily data and keep detailed notes during therapy sessions.
Maintain open communication with clients and families on a set caseload. Provide family training when needed.
Work in collaboration with designated Clinical Supervisor in order to support with service plans and continue to meet all clients' needs, and to collaborate with other team members and departments.
Support any behavioral needs, including addressing and following plans for maladaptive behaviors for client in multiple settings - community, school, and home.
Transport clients during therapy sessions to any necessary settings/services.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service Field, or Bachelor's Degree in a non-human service related field with 24 minimum upper division semester credits in human services field.
1040 hours of supervised experience working with individual's between birth to 21 years of age who demonstrate functional or behavioral needs.
Must have completed, or be willing to complete, a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course prior to the start date. Alternatively, individuals who hold a Habilitative Intervention (HI) certificate issued in Idaho prior to July 1, 2019, may continue to provide services as an InterventionSpecialist in lieu of the RBT training.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator with integration of behavioral health services and communication between disciplines (psychiatrists, physicians, APRNs, LCSWs, LMHCs, etc.).
Attend weekly staff meetings, Behavioral Health Department meetings, and BMC general staff meetings.
Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding caseloads, issues regarding supervision, and leave requests.
Conduct street and community outreach during working hours, including some nights and weekends as needed.
Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator in the creation, scheduling, and presentation of education sessions/groups for HIV, STD awareness, mental health, Life Skills, substance use, and other BMC services.
Distribute preventive materials including safe sex kits, condoms, and flyers.
Educate target population, newly diagnosed HIV persons, and others about BMC's available services, treatment options, and assist with linkages to services.
Engage and educate individuals aged 13 and up in risk-reduction discussions.
Ensure all certifications required for your position remain active and that updated copies are submitted for your employee file.
Ensure data collection is completed in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, including HIV and STD testing, follow-up questionnaires, and others.
Make home visits and reach out to individuals that are high risk, hard to reach, and/or present an adherence problem to treatment.
Navigate coordination and expedite services and linkages to additional wrap around care.
Perform behavioral screenings and assessments including GPRA, questionnaire data, demographic data collection instruments, pre-post training assessments, and surveys of partners and staff.
Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator in performing periodic review of performance measures to assess progress toward goals, inform program development, and enable fine-tuning of implementation strategies.
Present at internal departmental meetings and educate BMC staff about programs and services
Provide HIV, hepatitis, and STD testing and counseling.
Provide program with community referrals, providing name and location of available van and outreach sites.
Recruit participants for all Behavioral Health programs, HIV/hepatitis/STD testing, and prevention services.
Work with the Marketing Department to create campaigns and projects for social media.

Position Summary
The Overnight Case Manager will join our dedicated team in a licensed Transitional Residential Treatment program. This role will involve providing comprehensive mental health support services to individuals with behavioral health needs. Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements:

Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings, providing diagnostic and psychological assessments for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in specialty behavioral health settings.
Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
Master's Level Therapist Requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
HS graduate or equivalent required;
Prefer Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services field;

* Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.

Your role will work with youth who have been assigned to the Kansas Foster Care high acuity case team, as well as the youth's caregivers, to provide interventions, strategies, coaching and incentives. As a member of the High Acuity Permanency team, you will work with four other team members and report to our Senior Manager of High Acuity Permanency Services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Provide three hours of in-person behavioral intervention services to each of the youth on the assigned caseload, with a caseload of a maximum of five youth.
* Document progress towards treatment plan goals and any interventions provided.
* In collaboration with the assigned high acuity case management specialist, provide coaching and modeling to the caregivers and parents as they learn to effectively manage the youth's behaviors.
* When needed for the purpose of safety, attending worker-child, parent-child or worker-parent visits alongside the case manager.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
