The continuation of these services would not be possible without our administrative team. From Business Development and Community Outreach to Operations and Accounting, our administrative teach ensures our center is able to focus on what matters most: serving clients impacted by trauma.
The Accounting Specialist will be an integral part of this role, assisting the Director of Finance in accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and other administrative duties to keep our organization financially on track for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: tracking bill due dates, utilizing QuickBooks to enter payments and prepare checks, reconcile credit card statements against receipts
Accounts Receivable: enter checks, cash and online donations into QuickBooks daily and prepare funds for bank deposit as needed
Organizational Reporting: send Department monthly expense reports,
Prepare monthly reports to send to the Development Coordinator
Working collaboratively with the Grants Coordinator, monitor and track expenses related to grant funding to ensure proper allocation and reporting
Audit Preparation, assisting the Director of Finance as needed
Processing donations at in-person fundraising events
Other duties include general clerical duties, assisting with organizational projects as needed, and record documentation
Preferred Skills:
Strong working knowledge in QuickBooks
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically utilizing SharePoint
Background in nonprofit accounting, including experience with grants, donations, and large sponsorships, preferred but not

What you will do
Performs routine respiratory therapy procedures including IPPB, O2 therapy, and humidity/aerosol therapy in an assigned area on patients.
Establishes and maintains ventilation and airway care for assigned patients and provides ventilatory support to patients receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Performs advanced respiratory care techniques, including but not limited to: invasive pressure monitoring, including ICP, pulmonary artery catheters, cardiac output determinations, administration of Nitric Oxide, and other gases. Assists physician in insertion of catheters as needed. Performs arterial blood gas collection through line draws or punctures.
Performs patient assessment and reassessment through observation of the patient, clinical data gathering, response to therapy and reports findings accurately making referrals to appropriate disciplines as needed.
Provides educational development through guidance and teaching and serves as a technical resource person to the patient, patient's family, physician, students and other hospital staff regarding respiratory care procedures.
Recognizes and reacts appropriately to environmental safety factors and performs preventative and routine maintenance on respiratory care equipment and instruments.
Participates in departmental/hospital continuous improvement opportunities.
