What You'll Do
Appropriately select psychologically based instruments to use in assessments and administer, score and interpret assessments accurately.

Provides consultation to professional staff within Trusted Medical concerning clinical assessment findings when necessary.

Adheres to operational policies and procedures established by the Clinical Operations Lead and Behavioral Health Lead.
Duties include the following:
Prepare for and deliver exceptional in- clinic, face- to- face Veteran assessment during all interactions
Complete and submit all required documentation expeditiously and accurately, including Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the required format

* Assesses patients receiving Respiratory Care using knowledge of indications, contraindications, hazards of the above procedures and actions/reactions of medications being given.
* Performs aseptic techniques when required, and routine cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
* Provides patient education and on-going education support and training to clinical staff as needed. Assesses patient/family knowledge of health/illness.
* Performs, maintains and documents quality controls as applicable/requested.
* Assists in scheduling patient for office appointments, lab/diagnostic tests/referrals. Reviews written test preparation handout with patient and documents in medical record.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in a behavioral healthcare field licensable in Iowa (required for treatment of a primary mental health diagnosis).
For clinicians treating individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis, a license as an LMFT, LMHC, LMSW, LISW, or psychologist is required.
Understanding of Prairie Ridge's mission and the patients we serve.
Proficiency in oral and written communication, as well as record-keeping.
Technology skills sufficient to use electronic health records.
Physical demands: Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

We are looking for a part-time, licensed therapist passionate about whole-person, whole family mental health care to join our clinical team. This position reports to a Clinical Supervisor.
What you'll do:
• Practice evidence-based techniques to motivate, guide, and help our members meet their goals successfully
• Partner closely with other members of the clinical team, including psychiatrists, coaches, nurses, and behavioral case managers
• Pilot experimental therapy protocols and techniques
• Participate in training on our proprietary curriculum and collaborative care model
Who you are:
• Practicing at the top of your license as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMHC
• Experience with pediatric trauma work required
• EMDR training preferred
• Licensed in Iowa + other states is a bonus
• Tech-savvy and comfortable practicing telehealth via video
