Extended Services: Assist in ambulation and exercise as instructed by the primary care nurse or therapist. Perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency.
Communication: Maintain good relationships with the patient, the patient's family, and staff. Reports any changes to the patient's medical and living conditions to the supervisor or the primary nurse.
Minimize Patient Risk: Meet safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, Oxygen, etc.). Provide proper care and observation of patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominence.
Policies: Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
Operations: Attend in-service training and mandatory agency meetings.
SKILLS:
Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
Understanding of the hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill and secure with the issues of death/dying.

What You Will Do:
* Maintain a compliant Fire Protection Program aligned with applicable DOE directives and company procedures; establish processes, metrics, and assurance activities to verify continued compliance; analyze performance indicators and events, lead causal analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
* Lead or oversee fire hazard analyses and related risk evaluations; recommend engineered and administrative controls and verify their implementation in the field.
* Interpret and apply relevant fire protection and life-safety codes and standards across design and operations; ensure appropriate interfaces with electrical safety, worker safety, and property-protection requirements.
* Review and approve fire protection system designs and calculations; define design inputs and acceptance criteria for construction packages; review vendor submittals and ensure accurate as-built records.

* 6+ years of fire protection engineering experience for industrial/process or regulated facilities (e.g., DOE, nuclear, chemical, or large manufacturing).
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply fire protection and life-safety codes/standards and integrate them with site procedures and worker-safety programs.

Lays out, aligns and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, buildings and pipe, according to blueprints and metallurgy. RESPONSIBILITIES - Selects type and size of pipe or other related materials and equipment according to specifications.
- Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques.
- May be required to use Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas-Tungsten Arc, Submerged Arc, or Shielded Metal Arc welding processes.
- Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together in various body positions.
- Bolts, clamps and welds together metal components of products such as piping systems, plate, pipe and tube or structural shapes, using arc and arc gas welding equipment. May weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead position. May tack weld assemblies together.
- Connects cable from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope and pulse as specified by procedure or supervisor.
- Obtains specified electrode and inserts electrode into portable holder or threads consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun.
- Starts power supply to produce electric current.
- Strikes arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece.
- Manually guides electrode or gun along weld-line, maintaining length of arc and speed and movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
- May manually apply filler rod to supply weld metal.
- May clean or degrease weld joint or workplace, using wire brush, portable grinder, or chemical bath.
- May repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
- May remove excess weld, defective weld material, slag and spatter, using carbon arc gouge, hand scrapper, grinder or power chipper.
- May preheat work piece, using hand torch or heating furnace.
- May cut metal plates or structural shapes.
- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.
- May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
- Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
- Assists other mechanics as needed.
- Respiratory protection is common and may be required.
- Required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards. Performs only procedures certified in.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
The Conference Services Event Coordinator will assist the Director of Conference Services with the coordination of all campus-wide events. This person will coordinate all set up and AV/technical needs for all events on campus, including those taking place in the Ministry & Performing Arts Center or MPAC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Any one position may not include all the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification)
Create and disseminate event documentation to internal staff
Assist with set up and tear down of all Conference Services events (tables, chairs)
Schedule and supervise Conference Services student workers
Schedule, supervise and hire all Conference Services student workers
Set up and tear down all audio/visual equipment needed for Conference Services events
Assist with audio/visual needs for weekly Chapel services in the MPAC
Maintain inventory of all Conference Services audio/visual equipment
Maintain inventory of all Conference Services set up equipment (tables, chairs)
Facilitate sign-in/out process for all Conference Services audio/visual equipment
Assist Director of Conference Services with coordination of camps and camp related inventories
Work with other departments to coordinate event needs and ensure client satisfaction
Help maintain and repair all audio/visual equipment on campus
Assist President with on campus presentations

Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
At least 1 year of event coordination experience
At least 5 years of A/V experience
Experience with ProPresenter 7
Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Skill and Ability to:
Ability to lead and supervise a team of students
Administrative and organizational skills
Communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work flexible hours to coincide with event needs
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
