Salary: $65,000 Primary Function(s): Assist in the development of customized training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training and materials, and job aids. Deliver engaging and effective training to employees, both in-person and virtually. Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technology in L&D. Collaborate with the L&D team and other stakeholders during meetings to ensure programs align with organizational goals and objectives. Manage LMS and extract reports to measure training impact. Conduct training needs assessments and communicate with operations teams regularly. Assist the Learning and Development Director to complete priorities within the field as requested and comply with all standards within various Chimes subsidiaries and the standards in the Learning and Development department. Assume other duties as needed to demonstrate teamwork. Maintain knowledge and understanding of Chimes programs and services, employees' needs, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by the staff to change and improve job performance. Work with a team or alone to manage and/or instruct at various subsidiaries within Chimes, traveling as needed. Administers the State required QA program for Chimes usage and the interface with the BWI Restroom Alert System and the TRAX system. Supervises processes, trains and monitors administrative activities related to quality. Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion and respect for persons with disabilities. Reviews and takes any corrective action needed and submits these reports each month. * Reports vehicle problems, follows up on weekly vehicle reports, and actions, and arranges the drop-off and pick-up of vehicles for maintenance and repairs. * Establishes accountability practices for petty cash and individual funds to ensure proper use, submits receipts timely on the designated forms, and reports problems or irregularities. * Initiates and follows up on maintenance requests utilizing established procedures for submitting and notifying emergency maintenance after hours. * Responsible for maintaining program files. * Attends and conducts monthly house meetings. * Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties. * Attends work regularly according to assigned work schedule and following Agency policy. * Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development. * Responds timely to internal and external customers to ensure service excellence. * Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, individuals served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public. * Assumes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: * An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited school in a human services field is preferred. * A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. EXPERIENCE: * At a minimum, two years of experience working with persons who have a developmental disability in a group residence and experience in a management or supervisory position. * Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the Agency's insurance carrier and by Agency policy. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
