Job Description: In this role, the Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy to our clients. Holcomb serves a diverse population, covering the entire age and diagnostic spectrum.
Schedule Details: Full-Time and Part-Time, Days and Evenings
Location: Exton, PA
Program: Mental Health Outpatient
Pay Rate: $30+/hour Billable Rate; $15/hour Non-Billable Rate
Job Functions:
Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admission
Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans
Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services, as clinically necessary
Conduct individual, family, or group therapy, as clinically indicated, including maintaining a clinically appropriate balance between treatment modalities
Participate in all required individual and peer supervision and all applicable program staff meetings
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care
Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other local providers, client advocacy groups, and client support systems
Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists or Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health discipline for substance abuse therapists. All degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Experience: One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists and Two years of experience working with clients with addictions for substance abuse therapists.
Licensure/Certifications: Clinically Licensed (LCSW, Licensed Psychologist). Co-occurring professional certification is strongly encouraged.- clinical supervision leading to licensure available.
Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, and Fingerprint federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
Compensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):
* Evaluate students ages 5-21 years old, formulate students' occupational profiles, and devise goals and objectives through a variety of standardized and/or non-standardized measures including standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.
* Provide school-based direct services and indirect consultative services for students with intellectual, physical, behavioral, neurological, medical, and/or developmental disorders.
* Collaborates and consults with other disciplines (including speech-language pathologists, behavior specialists, social workers, nurses, teachers, and program assistants) to ensure team understanding of student occupational performance strengths and needs, through evaluation, educational program planning, and service delivery.
* Synthesizes evaluation results into a comprehensive written report that reflects strengths and barriers to student participation in the educational environment; directs program development; implements and guides evidence-based intervention.
* Develops occupationally based intervention plans based on student needs and evaluation results.
Participates in IEP Individual Educational Plans meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings with other disciplines, offer recommendations, develop IEP goals and objectives, and provide direct services.
* Adapts and modifies tasks and/or environment including assistive technology equipment and trains instructional staff to meet individual needs and to help students function as independently as possible.
* Documents occupational therapy services to ensure accountability of service provision and to meet standards for reimbursement of services by the Maryland State Department of Education and billing requirements.
* Prioritizes and schedules work tasks independently.
Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties.
* Attends work regularly according to assigned work schedule and by Agency policy.
Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development.
Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, families, people served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public.
* Assumes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed.
SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):
* Manages inventories of therapeutic equipment and assessments, and project needs for budget planning.
* Share areas of expertise in the form of in-service training with Chimes personnel and families.
* Assist in planning and implementation of one school-wide special event.
Works cooperatively and effectively with Agency volunteers maximizing the volunteers' experience while meeting the needs of the people served and the programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in education or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
* Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the Agency's insurance carrier and by Agency policy.
* Training or supervised experience in the care and instruction of children.
* Two years experience as an occupational therapist, preferably in a school system.
* Experience and/or interest in treating the pediatric population with multiple disabilities including, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Emotional Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Neurological disorders preferred.

Position Details:
Reports to: Clinical Director
Schedule: Full-time, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.
Location: Coatesville, PA (On-site)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments including ASAM forms, biopsychosocial assessments, and applicable evaluations.
Identify treatment needs, integrating findings into a collaborative, measurable treatment plan with patients.
Document and update treatment plans and clinical records in adherence to program, regulatory, and confidentiality standards, maintaining accuracy and security.
Maintain regular contact with referral sources and family members to provide progress updates and facilitate support, offering consistent communication throughout the treatment process.
Lead and facilitate individual and group sessions, including daily process groups and multidisciplinary treatment reviews, promoting open self-disclosure and collaboration on patient needs and goals.
Coordinate resources and develop post-discharge plans to support patients with legal, financial, and vocational needs, ensuring comprehensive recovery planning.
Apply clinical judgment and intervention skills in crisis situations, including risk assessments, de-escalation, and suicide risk evaluations
Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse patient needs.
Build rapport and foster trust with patients through strong interpersonal skills, working effectively with diverse populations.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or a related human services major.
An active LPC, LAPC, LCSW, LSW in the state of PA.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in field of mental or behavioral healthcare.
Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics
Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the fields of behavioral and mental health care is strongly preferred.

In addition to providing counseling from the Ashburn office, Better Morning started off as a certified provider for intensive in home and community-based services (IHCBS), for at risk youth in District of Columbia.

Better Moring currently provides counseling, psychiatric services, intensive community-based services and community support. Better Morning is expanding evidenced based services and looking forward to hire LPC, LICSW, LGSW, and LPC.
Duties and responsibilities
Completes assessments, and treatment plans
Provides couple/ family/individual therapy -onsite and offsite( in home and in the community)
Collaborate with other treatment providers
Document each session within 48 hours
Attend all the EBP trainings
Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree in social work, Psychology or related discipline is required
Licensure:
Must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW
