Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide one-to-one services to an identified child/adolescent and family to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, school & community.
Schedule Details: Part-Time
Location: Wyomissing, PA
Program: Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
Pay Rate: $18+/hour
Job Functions:
Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner
Complete all training requirements as dictated by the state prior to working alone with clients (6 hours supervised hours in the field) and any other required thereafter
Submit to Human Resources, in a timely manner, copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal training
Provide services as defined by the program description, and best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standards
Maintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, payers, community support service representatives, co-workers, and other agencies
Participate in interagency meetings, as required, and represent the agency in an effective and professional manner in all contacts with clients, payers, and collateral staff
Ability to work within a group to develop internal systems to improve and ensure quality services
Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, in a timely manner
Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
Implement interventions effectively based on the treatment plan and behavior management plan as developed by the Behavior Consultant
Provide crisis intervention to clients, when indicated, to stabilize acute crises
Participate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as all applicable program staff meetings
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: One year of full-time experience in providing mental health support services to youth, or young adults
Licensure/Certifications: Have certification as BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician Certification)
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Job Functions:
* Provide quality services based on established best practice principles

Experience and/or Education: Master's degree in social sciences with relevant professional experience of at least 3 years

Monitor effectiveness of own service delivery based on outcome measures including Perception

Job Duties:
Performs maintenance tasks
* Makes needed repairs utilizing carpentry, drywall, and painting skills.
* Makes electrical repairs.

* Repairs and/or installs ceramic and vinyl tile.
* Identifies and performs plumbing repairs such as sinks, tubs, and water closets.

* Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment, including the use of positive reinforcement
* Provide quality mobile services in line with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) standards
* Maintain quality documentation of clinical ABA service delivery
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, payers, community support service representatives, co-workers, and other agencies
* Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships by pairing the self as a reinforcing entity and building the value of social interaction between the client and the BHT-ABA
* Educate all those involved about the role of ABA-based interventions and functions within the boundaries of the BHT-ABA role
* Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
* Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without the disruption to the environment
* Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptly

Job Functions:
Provide services as defined by the program description, and best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standards and Recovery Model Principles
Provide assistance to the program coordinator with completing assigned administrative duties within the program
Monitor effectiveness of own service delivery based on outcome measures including Quality of Life Inventory, consumer satisfaction surveys, and treatment/service reviews. As needed, make changes to own service delivery to improve outcomes
Provide services as dictated by client and program needs
Develop and implement service plans as per the program description
Develop and maintain linkages with adjunct providers to coordinate consumer services

Program Description: Family Based Mental Health Services provides community-based therapy and support services to children, adolescents, and their families who face emotional and behavioral problems impacting their lives at home, school, and in relationships. These services provide therapy in a family's home by a two-person team under the supervision of a program director and clinical supervisor.
Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Family-Based Clinician to conduct individual therapy and to assist in the conducting of family therapy with FBMHS clients and receive supervisory direction from the Clinical Coordinator and any other assigned supervisor.

Pay Rate: $25/hour
Job Functions:
* Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
* Provide routine, quality supervision to Family Based Counselor team members, if applicable
* Provide clinical mobile service delivery as defined by the program description, and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standards
* Provide quality mobile services based on established best practice principles of care
* Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery
* Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
* Communicate effectively with payers to maintain and renew service authorizations as clinically appropriate
* Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations as necessary, on time
* Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
* Develop formal treatment plans and, as required, behavior management plans in consultation with the client, family, and other team members
* Implement effective treatment interventions consistent with the treatment plan
* Consult with other treatment professionals regarding their role in carrying out designated treatment plan interventions
* Conduct quality individual and family therapy, with a clinically appropriate balance between both modalities
* Conduct an appropriate balance between team- and individually-delivered interventions
* Provide crisis assessment and psychological stabilization, as necessary
* Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement
* Complete all training mandated by the staff for Family Based Services
* Complete all personally required training as per the Professional Development Plan
* Submit to Human Resources promptly copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal training
* Maintain professional licensure and, when applicable, specialized certification in the designated state(s)
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in a clinical discipline (i.e. clinical or counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or human services), including two semesters of formal, supervised clinical practicum experience
Experience: Two years of experience in the behavioral health field with children/adolescents.
Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

BHT-ABA's will utilize interventions developed from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. There is an opportunity for supervision towards BCBA licensure for eligible candidates.

Job Functions:
* Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
* Use Word, Excel, Ultipro Time & Attendance, Electronic Health Record and Outlook effectively
* Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner
* Provide services as defined by the program description, and best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standards
* Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment, including the use of positive reinforcement
* Provide quality mobile services in line with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) standards
* Maintain quality documentation of clinical ABA service delivery
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, payers, community support service representatives, co-workers, and other agencies
* Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships by pairing the self as a reinforcing entity and building the value of social interaction between the client and the BHT-ABA.
* Educate all those involved about the role of ABA-based interventions and functions within the boundaries of the BHT-ABA role
* Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
* Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without the disruption to the environment
* Provide all authorized client services and supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptly
* Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
* Implement interventions effectively based on the treatment plan and behavior management plan as developed by the Behavior Consultant and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
* Provide crisis intervention to clients, when indicated, to stabilize acute crises
* Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to known reinforcers
* Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes
* Accurately collects behavior data, including but not limited to ABC data and frequency data
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience: Staff who provide BHT-ABA services shall meet one of the following:
* Have a certification as a BCaBA
* Have a certification as an RBT
* Have a behavior analysis certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
* Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA
* Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved therapies by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Licensure/Certifications: Have certification as an RBT [Supervision towards BCBA licensure available to eligible BHT-ABA candidates]

Experience: One year of experience in the behavioral health field working with children/adolescents
License/Certifications: Licensed or certification preferred, but not required
