Deals games according to Chinook Winds policies & procedures, NIGC, Tribal policies, State Compact, and Tribal gaming regulations. Protects Chinook Winds assets. Determines that bets are in compliance with table limits. Makes payoffs and collections. Identifies and reports any irregularities in play to supervisors. Provides technical assistance to customers regarding Chinook Winds games such as how to play, rules, limits, etc. Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards. Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs, and services. Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services. Other duties as assigned. Note: Can only deal the games in which the Table Games Dealer has current certification. Supports the month0end and year-end closing process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate. Analyzes financial data, identifies variances, and provides insights to management regarding trends or irregularities. Assists with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for leadership and external stakeholders. Reconciles and maintains fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and capitol project tracking. Monitors compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Supports external audit and regulatory requirements by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation. Collaborates with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Stays up to date on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Other duties as directed by management. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and 3 years of full cycle accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of or experience in the gaming industry preferred. Demonstrated understanding of accounting, payroll and time management systems. In depth knowledge of full cycle accounting and the math skills needed for calculating accounting equations. Ability to work and perform tasks independently and confidentially.
