Responsibilities
Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively and efficiently.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Serve food prepared in the restaurant as needed.
Offer both flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
Clean and wash bar ware, utensils and bar area. Restock and prep bar items as needed.
Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the bar, restaurant and kitchen.
Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Qualifications Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required. Some locations may require bartending experience specifically. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

Qualification Standards:
1. Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
2. Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment.
3. Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
4. Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
5. Must obtain or possess and/or obtain a valid food handler's card prior to employment.
6. In Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire.
7. Must be 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
1. Stands entire shift.
2. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members.
3. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and lift bus trays, tubs, and glass racks frequently weighing 25 pounds.
