About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Poultney, VT)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.
Work schedule
Monday through Friday
Local driving (1-3 hours)
Early morning starts at approximately 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Approximately 10-12 hours per day
Overtime may be needed
Up to 10% overnight travel may be required
What you will be doing
This is a hybrid role that consists of 40% driving and 60% physical work
Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels
Ability to safely hook up and unhook trailers
Drives emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored according to requirements
Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimization and control
Report all unusual incidents and accidents immediately
Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
What you will bring

POSITION SUMMARY:
Sugarbush Resort is seeking Experienced Lift Maintenance Technicians to join our Mountain Operations team. Lift Maintenance Mechanics ensure the safety and reliability of our lifts by monitoring, maintaining and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidate holds a competent mechanical/electrical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. This role also includes a sign on bonus paid $1000 after the first 6 months of employment, and a second $1000 paid after 12 months of employment to ensure longevity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and repair all lift equipment, ranging from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
Duties during the winter operating season include regularly scheduled maintenance, pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, and monthly inspections as well as responding to lift breakdowns.
The summer season includes a thorough inspection of all lift components, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance.
Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of mechanical or electrical experience.
Detachable lift experience is a plus.

The goal of the Post Acute Unit at UVMHN Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is to provide supportive, goal-directed care following surgery and/or hospitalization. Specially-designed treatment programs provide patients with the preparation, support and education that enables them to return home as quickly as possible. Our goal is to help patients reach their highest possible level of independence.
A partial list of conditions we work with includes:
* Strokes
* Neurological conditions
* Orthopedic care
* Respiratory conditions
* Cardiac and Post-Trauma situations
Routine Therapy services are provided Monday through Friday. We also have the capability of providing therapy six days a week if that is what is required to maximize positive results. Nursing staff provide the necessary extension of therapies when therapy staff are not present to provide direct service. This may include walking, exercises and supervision of other activities set up by the therapy staff.

SVT strives to: build community among local indviduals, organizations, and businesses; support the local economy by promoting the region as a place to visit with improved access to trails; encourage the positive health benefits of being active outdoors. Slate Valley Trails maintains more than 50 miles of free, public trails in Poultney, Castleton and Wells. Our trails are made possible through the generosity of private landowners, with the support of local towns, and by the help of volunteer stewards. The Youth Program Coordinator will expand Slate Valley Trails' capacity to deliver high-quality outdoor recreation and trail-based programming for young people in the Slate Valley region. The member will design, lead, and coordinate biking and trail stewardship programs that connect youth to the outdoors, build skills and confidence, and foster a lifelong appreciation for healthy recreation and the natural environment. Position begins April 6, 2026 and ends October 1, 2026 This position is Half Time: Requires 915 hours for an average of 40 hours per week for 6 months. Member will receive a living allowance of $16,147 (pre-tax) and an education award of $3,697.50 (pre-tax) upon successful completion of service. Job Responsibilities:

Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
Set up for AM or PM break stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, beverages, etc.
Assists as needed with event room setup according to meal period and table needs
Performs food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and ensuring workstations are stocked.
Removes dishes, glasses, silverware or other items from tables/counter tops and takes them to the kitchen.
Takes into consideration any special request and dietary issues made by the guest.
Interacts with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
Ensures final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving guests.
Monitors assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality and additional service.
Addresses any guest issue promptly and with high concern.
Provides assistance to other banquet staff as needed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 18 years of age.
2-4 years of food service experience, preferably Banquet service.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Must be able to be on feet 10+ hours.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
