Summary:
Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management (LTAM), a member of Osaic, is a registered investment advisor with over $7 billion assets under management. Responsibilities:
Trading Tasks
Actively trade and rebalance the model portfolios comprised of ETFs and mutual funds
Generate orders in accounts using various systems
Monitor concentration percentages of each fund for trading and risk management
Monitor cash flows in accounts and execute trades accordingly
Answer advisors' questions on all trading activity, market analysis and portfolio rebalancing
Verify previous day's trades
Invest new accounts and track dollar cost averaging schedule for partially invested accounts
Track and monitor accounts with systematic withdrawals, restricted positions, pending distributions and any other exceptions
Receive and process all account servicing forms for certain platforms (withdrawals, beneficiary updates, address changes)
Review the firm's five strategic asset allocation for adjustments to the portfolios along with the investment policy committee
Create dispersion report for accounts with restrictions
Provide updated model allocations to appropriate platforms and verify changes have been made
All other duties as assigned
Operational Tasks
Account servicing tasks such as processing withdrawals, beneficiary updates, address changes, etc.
Establishing accounts on Black Diamond and various custodial platforms
Monitoring cash flows in accounts and trade and bill accordingly
Preparing assets under management, projected revenue and profitability reports for executives
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is required.

General Summary:
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will gain valuable real-world experience through projects with exposure through the senior leadership level. The Business Intelligence Intern will assist and support the Credit COE (Center of Excellence) with cleaning, defining, and visualizing data for the Credit Department. They will also support data governance and records retention
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the COE with data cleaning and visualization for Credit systems and reporting
Prepares a data focused presentation for Executive leadership as a cap stone
Performs initial record reviews as required by the Bank's records retention policy
Performs other routine office duties and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of the first two years of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university - preferably in a relevant field of study (i.e. Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, or Data Science).
Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
Proficient Tableau skills, portfolio or project examples preferred.
High degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and independence to produce effective and timely work.
Effective verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with internal contacts.
Preferred experience utilizing R and SQL.
Preferred SharePoint and Dev Ops exposure.

Intern Position Summary
The Data Services Intern will work with the Data Services Team, headed by the Chief Data Officer (CDO). The Data Services team implements the policies of the Data Management Board (DMB) such as data modeling, data quality, and data governance. The team also performs hands-on technical work such as developing data pipelines and data integration, administering relational databases, and performing prototypes of emerging technology.
The summer intern will gain experience creating data models, analyzing data pipelines, conducting technology proofs of concept (POCs), and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Essential Functions
Analyze data flows in CSBS systems and databases.
Create conceptual and logical data models.
Streamline data engineering processes.
Learn industry standard practices for data quality analysis, data catalogs, and data classification.
Participate in POCs for data sharing APIs.
Education and Experience
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with data integration, such as extract, transform, loading (ETL), or application programming interfaces (API).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of data integration.
Ability to learn new technologies through self-directed learning and research.
Diagramming and writing.
