We're known for products like QuickBooks, Mailchimp TurboTax, and Credit Karma. At our core, we are deeply customer-obsessed, relentlessly focused on solving our customers' most important problems and tenaciously delivering profound benefits that help them prosper. **About the Team:** To predict the future, we must create it-and at Intuit, that's exactly what we're doing. The CEO Transformation Office is a newly formed, high-impact organization reporting directly to the CEO. Its mission is to mobilize the company around what matters most, shape the market, and accelerate Intuit's transformation into the world's leading global financial platform and system of intelligence. This team sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, creativity, and execution. We bring together communications, creative, narrative development, and flagship events and experiences under one unified organization to ensure Intuit shows up with clarity, consistency, and conviction-internally and externally. From customers and prospects to media and investors, we shape how Intuit's vision comes to life in the world. This role requires polished craft execution, production expertise, and strong storytelling judgment. You will be expected to contribute at a high level - calling out what is required to tell a clear, compelling product story; identifying gaps in logic or experience; and setting a quality bar that scales across teams and surfaces. This is a team for builders, storytellers, and operators who want to shape the future-not react to it. **The opportunity:** This senior role sits at the intersection of product design, motion design, and strategic storytelling. You'll visualize, prototype, and communicate Intuit's product future through product storyboards and demos - especially across AI-powered systems, platforms, and intelligent workflows. Motion design is not just a production layer applied at the end of product development. It is a core thinking tool-used to explore ideas, pressure-test assumptions, and make future-state product intelligence tangible. In this role, motion design and interaction are leveraged to clarify complex systems, establish credibility, and create emotional resonance, often for concepts that are early, abstract, or not yet built. You will partner closely with Intuit designers, PMs, and engineers to ideate and prototype what Intuit's products, workflows, and experiences could be in the future. This includes shaping speculative UI behaviors, defining interaction models, and directing narrative arcs that help teams understand not just what a product is, but why it exists and how it should feel in use. This role requires polished craft execution, production expertise, and strong storytelling judgment. You will be expected to contribute at a high level - calling out what is required to tell a clear, compelling product story; identifying gaps in logic or experience; and setting a quality bar that scales across teams and surfaces. Your work will help establish the canonical way Intuit communicates product vision, influencing customers, partners, executives, and internal stakeholders alike. **Responsibilities** **The opportunity:** Intuit's mission is to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses and the self-employed. The Brand Storytelling and Experiences group brings that mission to life through high-impact and transformative campaigns and experiences around the globe all designed to shape, showcase, and demonstrate the power and meaning behind the Intuit ecosystem. We inspire customers with a variety of Live/Virtual Events and galvanize our 19,000+ employees around what matters most to our customers with best-in-class storytelling. This cross-functional, high-performing team serves as a center of excellence for the company and includes experts across video, experience design, strategic content, event production, experiential marketing and more. As a Senior Motion Designer you will drive ideation and execution of 2D and 3D motion design and animation across multiple campaigns and touchpoints. You will elevate the craft of motion design by bringing a wealth of experience and external inspiration to continuously raise the bar. This is a hands on, highly collaborative role accountable for creative concepting, previsualization and animation working directly with design, copy, video and strategy partners and reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, Video. This role will be based in the L.A. Culver City office 3x per week for best collaboration and career growth. Remote, working on PST or EST may be considered for the right candidate. **What you'll do** + This is a hands-on role in development and animation of world class motion design for internal and external-facing projects (brand campaigns, organic social, GTM initiatives) and events (live, virtual, and hybrid). + At times you'll work directly with a Motion Design CD, at others you'll work directly with Content and Strategy Directors, or as a partner with cross functional teams from brand and experiential design. + You'll lead internal and external teams, leaning in whenever necessary to drive best outcomes. + Use insights and deep customer empathy to develop and pitch creative concepts. + Collaborate to inform overall design direction for events and campaigns and translate that direction into elegant, elevated motion design. + Manage and give direction to external motion design partners and agencies. + Work closely with internal and external video producers and editors managing post workflows for motion graphics in video deliverables. **Qualifications** **What you bring** + 10+ years of experience pitching, developing, designing and animating 2D, 3D and experiential motion deliverables at leading studios, agencies and companies. + A collaborative mindset. As a Senior Motion Design Lead, you will be accountable for end-to-end development and animation both as a singular driver and as a contributor in collaboration with other Motion Designers, vendors, producers, copywriters, strategists and event Managers. + An audience-first approach to your storytelling. You'll use empathy and audience insights to inform your creative. + A passion and excitement for all things motion design.
