Christ For The Nations was founded in 1948 by Gordon & Freda Lindsay as a missions enterprise originally called The Voice of Healing.
The destination, in 1969, of a young German missionary, his wife Anni and their baby son.
American evangelist Gordon Lindsay and his wife, Freda Lindsay, founded Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) in 1970.
In 1974 the evangelistic organization that is today still known as Christ for all Nations, was born and a small team gathered around the young evangelist to reach out to the peoples of Africa.
She remained active as the President of Christ for the Nations until she retired in her 90s. "Mom" Lindsay died in her home on March 26, 2010 at the age of 95 on "Gordon Lindsay Day", a day the institute had designated to remember and honor the legacy of its founder.
