Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the company's marketing and scheduling operations across a complex, multi-state production system. Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the company's marketing and scheduling operations across a complex, multi-state production system. In this highly analytical role, they'll interpret data across groups, flows, and packer commitments to ensure the right pigs get to the right place at the right time. The coordinator will be a key liaison between production, logistics, and marketing, analyzing load performance, adjusting schedules, generating insights, and supporting quick decisions that directly impact profitability and efficiency.
What You Will Do:
* Analyze marketing and flow data to support daily, weekly, and long-range, scheduling decisions.
* Manage load scheduling and adjustments to ensure proper flow timing, required down days, and optimized utilization.
* Generate and distribute reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to Marketing Managers, Directors, and senior leadership.
* Monitor and reconcile load schedules vs. commitments, resolving discrepancies to minimize transportation issues.
* Negotiate open-market sales with packers as needed to secure optimal pricing and grade value.

* Maintain compliance with drug withdrawal and animal welfare requirements across all market loads.

* Manage audits in line with biosecurity standards.

If selected for this job, you'll be responsible for upholding our high biosecurity and animal welfare standards.
