1977 CAK opens it's doors with 96 students in grades K-6.
1978 Enrollment grows to 159 and grades 7-8 are added.
1979 CAK high school begins with the addition of 9th grade.
1983 The Development Committee finally found land for CAK’s permanent home and purchased 27 acres of land off Dutchtown Road.
1985 CAK’s first school facility opened, and the first two buildings overflowed even before they were completed.
1986 The first gym, with band room and home economics room, was completed.
1987 CAK becomes the first school in Tennessee to gain dual accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
1991 Enrollment reaches 436 and a waiting list for admissions is created.
1993 The new elementary wing opened in October.
1997 Additional land was purchased to bring the campus to 77 acres.
1998 Enrollment topped 800 and the new high school building opened.
1999 The Campus Center with gym, stage, and administrative offices opened.
2001 Pre-K program opened and new classrooms built.
2007 The high school remodeled offices and added new science lab, computer lab, music room, classrooms and expanded the commons.
2009 Six tennis courts were constructed and opened near the Campus Center.
2011 Construction began on the new campus cafeteria.
2017 CAK celebrated its 40th Anniversary.
