Coaches will be responsible for establishing team rules. These pre-approved rules must be communicated to the team at the beginning of the season. These rules would include, but not limited to, practice attendance, lateness to practice or games, or care of uniforms/equipment.
Coaches who are responsible for supervision of the gym/field will have a physical presence there at all times.
Coaches should cover practice expectations in a pre-season meeting and/or informational letter.
Recruit and hire competent and professional assistant coaches
Varsity coaches shall advise and give direction to lower level squads in such areas as fundamentals, drills, patterns, offenses, defenses, conditioning, and coaching techniques.
Monitor Christian Academy compliance with KHSAA rules and regulations
Operate within the annual budget report and spending for the sport
Supervise the coaching staff of the sport program on all levels to ensure athletes and coaches are growing spiritually

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a housing program for on-campus students
residing in the residence halls.
Evaluate, assess, and project College housing occupancy and retention trends.
Establish and implement processes and procedures related to housing applications, contracts, waivers,
and cancellation procedures for residence halls and apartments.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Working from a home office in Indiana, the High School Health and Physical Education Teacher will support the mission of the school, teach students, and virtually manage instructional programs. Through use of the phone calls, Class for Zoom sessions, and various curriculum and communication tools, they will consult regularly with students and caretakers/learning coaches to ensure that each student gains proficiency and demonstrates essential skills and standards for the course(s) taught.
The Teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:
* Effectively guide all homeroom students and families through academic programming requirements:
* Maintain regular communication with students and parents/learning coaches
* Advise students and families related to academics, career planning, and graduation;
* Keep informed of all high school graduation requirements;
* Understand the requirements for and assist the facilitation of all required school testing;
* Encourage and monitor student engagement in career readiness programming;
* Provide quality instruction and promote student achievement
* Plan data-driven instruction;
* Create and deliver standards-based, objective-driven instruction via web conferencing (Class for Zoom);
* Design and provide asynchronous instructional resources;
* Provide assessment feedback and complete all grading in a timely manner;
* Work collaboratively with other teachers as an active member of the Professional Learning Community
* Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments and projects;
* Consult with other teachers and staff learning specialists to develop alternate enrichment activities and modifications to students' programs to increase student understanding;
* Contribute to school culture and overall school operations:
* Devise and implement virtual methods of creating and maintaining a "school community";
* Collaboration with Special Populations teachers and School Counselors to ensure students and families are receiving appropriate communications, students are making adequate progress, and established goals are being met;
* Attend and participate in all required in-person and remote staff meetings;
* Adhere to the school in-person event policy;
* Participate in state testing events (may require overnight travel);
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Current Indiana teaching certification in secondary Health and Physical Education
* Strong technology skills

* Ability to work remotely and travel within the state of Indiana as needed
