From Aug 09 to Aug 13, Barry was the Exec VP at NavPress, publishing division of the Navigator Org in Colorado Springs, CO. At NavPress Barry was responsible for developing church direct publishing and services such as consulting and training nationally.

Prior to joining NavPress, Barry held several roles on the management team at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, TN from 1990-2009. At LifeWay, Barry was the Lead Church Consultant, Strategist and Regional Director for Church Relations and Consulting. In these roles he led churches to assess, strategize, and implement church health and ministry effectiveness. Barry also managed a team of church consultants and ministry resource specialists for the southeastern region of the United States with an interaction strategy and revenue budget accountability for more than $50 million.

Barry earned a degree from Mississippi College in Clinton and a master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. He is a published author of two books: Transformational Discipleship and Jesus by Heart. He is also an avid sportsman who loves to play golf and fly fish, and is in fact, a Simms certified fly fishing guide. Barry has been married since 1994 to Cindy Sneed who is a licensed professional counselor. They live in Nashville, TN.
