Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition into CRC program regarding medication management and needed medical follow up. This may be through direct care, CPST activities, group or individually. Works to coordinate wellness activities for residents including psychoeducation, collaboration with the food program, assisting with the development of recreational activities, etc., that promote an overall sense of wellbeing. The Medical Manager must be available on-call 24 hours a day and be accessible on-site to or face to face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's medical needs.

Direct Client Care to include, but not limited to:
- Orders, receives and distributes routine and Over the Counter (OTC) medications for all residential treatment units within established guidelines.
- Coordinates services with pharmacy, Community Support Provider (CSP), therapist, or other persons involved in clients' treatment. Communicates med changes to the appropriate persons.
- Conducts tests authorized to perform by RN.
Office Duty Tasks to include, but not limited to:
Assists with medical message line by documenting messages, returning phone calls, completing 4KidHelp message forms, and returning necessary phone calls. Pulls charts, checks for needed documentation updates, prepares med som notes/forms to prepare for doctor appointments:
• Provides on-call services as established.
• Maintains MARS per established guidelines.
• Keeps Carelogic system updated with current residential client medications.
• Performs random med checks as needed.
• Reviews MARS on a regular basis to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates change of medication form with appropriate county.
Coordinates medical appointments, coordinating transportation with the appropriate CSP:
• Maintains medical records, documentation and tracking of medical appointments, including but not
limited to annual, follow ups and initial appointments.
• Communicates outcomes to placing entities and others as appropriate.
- Verifies any lab work received and/or outstanding orders and communicates with cottage staff about pending appointments or outstanding results.
- Cleans and organizes medication carts in each cottage.
- Oversees and maintains stocking of first aid kits in each cottage, cottage cars, and staff medical packs.
- Provides education to client regarding medication management, side effects and the importance of nutrition/hygiene. Engages team in wellness activities for residents.
- Coordinates services with pharmacy, clinicians, schools, and others involved in client treatment.
- Communicates med changes obtaining requires permissions from guardians and insurance companies.
- Maintains MARs for each resident ensuring side effects sheets, doctor's orders, and other documentation according to ODJFS guidelines and CCHO policies and procedures.
- Manages and tracks discontinued medications following guidelines for discarding discontinued medications.
- Attends scheduled meetings with CRC leadership as necessary (supervisors and clinical).
- Completes Critical Incident Reports when directly involved with resident.
- Reviews, collects info and communicates symptoms to RN and responds to resident medical concern forms as directed by RN.
- Triages injury/illness as needed for more extensive medical care per approved guidelines set by RN.
- Works in conjunction with the RN/psychiatrist and other licensed providers to ensure medical needs/care are provided to residents.
- Meets productivity expectations for billed services.
Other duties may be assigned.

- No less than three years of experience working with youth and families in a medical setting, required.

The Educational Program Leader (EPL) is an essential member of the Envision Academy team. - Provides support to the Envision Academy Administrator in designated academic and operational tasks.
- Works with special education students one-on-one and in small group settings to complete special education services, objective-related trials, and transition services.
- Assists with maintaining special education due dates and drafting documents for IEP, ETR, Behavior Observations, Related Services, progress reports, and other special education-related meetings. (Outlook calendar knowledge).
- Substitute teaching/teacher coverage when needed.
- Assists the Envision Academy Administrator in special education and diagnostic data tracking.
- Assists with services for transition goals and activities for special education students 14 years of age and older, as well as collaborating with CRC CCM's regarding life skills and daily living skills opportunities (Goodwill Cares, Dining Hall, Caring Closet, etc.)
- Maintains special education data and document organization.
- Completes quarterly progress reports.
Residential Program Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Safe Crisis Management (SCM) de-escalation and restraint techniques according to agency policy/procedures when needed, including safely restraining a child of any size.
- Be responsible for meeting many basic physical and emotional needs of the residents, including providing supervision, limit setting, participating in weekly team meetings, social training, meal preparation, medical attention, hygiene training, clothing needs, creating a safe and orderly environment, and facilitating recreation. Transport residents to scheduled appointments as needed.
- Completes incident reports, logs, and other various forms according to licensing expectations. Provides safe vehicle operation and reports any vehicle needs when appropriate, turn in maintenance requests as needed or as directed by shift supervisor.
- Maintains child and campus safety by providing support and supervision of residents at all times, including, but not limited to school hours, recreational time and searching/chasing a runaway child.
- In conjunction with the Shift Supervisors and the Clinical Team, the EPL is responsible for the tone and operation of campus. This includes adhering to the clinical and milieu programming and curriculum, maintaining a trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive environment, and being a Christian leader for the CRC campus and setting the spiritual tone for the kids and staff.
- Assists CRC staff with program transitions and campus movement of residents as well as facilitating program activities and campus events as assigned.
- Facilitates Fun Fridays which includes planning, budgeting, and providing transport for incentive outings and activities, during summer months.
- Assists with cottage and campus coverage during meeting times as assigned, during summer months.
- Provides one on one resident care as assigned.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all records in compliance with HIPAA. Communicates effectively with the team/other staff, both verbally and in writing regarding treatment progress, planning decisions, problems, etc. Fills out all appropriate logs, reports, and forms. Attends meetings as needed and shares observations about resident issues.
- Attends all required trainings for the position and maintain any credentials needed.
- Works the scheduled hours provided by Supervisor, including 5 eight-hour shifts on 1st shift. Hours for this position are subject to change based on coverage and program needs during summer months. While the EPL position does not have any direct reports, he/she will provide leadership and supervision of the campus while on duty to include routine and treatment programming. Will work in conjunction with CRC and Envision leadership to ensure overall safety, accountability, structure and tone of the campus. The EPL will also participate in leadership-related development within the education team and be empowered and trained to lead small group and one-on-one intervention and instruction with students.

Residential Program Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Safe Crisis Management (SCM) de-escalation and restraint techniques according to agency policy/procedures when needed, including safely restraining a child of any size.
- Be responsible for meeting many basic physical and emotional needs of the residents, including providing supervision, limit setting, participating in weekly team meetings, social training, meal preparation, medical attention, hygiene training, clothing needs, creating a safe and orderly environment, and facilitating recreation. Transport residents to scheduled appointments as needed.
- Completes incident reports, logs, and other various forms according to licensing expectations. Provides safe vehicle operation and reports any vehicle needs when appropriate, turn in maintenance requests as needed or as directed by shift supervisor.
- Maintains child and campus safety by providing support and supervision of residents at all times, including, but not limited to school hours, recreational time and searching/chasing a runaway child.
- In conjunction with the Shift Supervisors and the Clinical Team, the EPL is responsible for the tone and operation of campus. This includes adhering to the clinical and milieu programming and curriculum, maintaining a trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive environment, and being a Christian leader for the CRC campus and setting the spiritual tone for the kids and staff.
- Assists CRC staff with program transitions and campus movement of residents as well as facilitating program activities and campus events as assigned.
- Facilitates Fun Fridays which includes planning, budgeting, and providing transport for incentive outings and activities, during summer months.
- Assists with cottage and campus coverage during meeting times as assigned, during summer months.

- Works the scheduled hours provided by Supervisor, including 5 eight-hour shifts on 1st shift. Hours for this position are subject to change based on coverage and program needs during summer months. School hours will be Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM; hours are subject to change based on job requirements.
- Attends group supervision and individual supervision once a month with Supervisor, and as needed with Envision Academy Administrator.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
While the EPL position does not have any direct reports, he/she will provide leadership and supervision of the campus while on duty to include routine and treatment programming. Will work in conjunction with CRC and Envision leadership to ensure overall safety, accountability, structure and tone of the campus. The EPL will also participate in leadership-related development within the education team and be empowered and trained to lead small group and one-on-one intervention and instruction with students.
