1950

Christian Financial Credit Union began in 1950 as St Jude’s Parish Credit Union in Detroit, Michigan.

1998

In 1998, SERF Credit Union and Northeast Catholic Credit Union merged, and the name Christian Financial was born.

2003

In January 2003, CFCU merged with Father Murray Federal Credit Union and St Mark’s Parish Credit Union.

2013

In October 2013, CFCU merged with ARC Credit Union.

2020

As of April 1, 2020, our merger with Motor City Co-op Credit Union has grown the credit union to more than 61,000+ members.
