Peri-Anesthesia Nursing is a unique type of nursing specialty as we provide the "before" and "after" care for patients that have had surgery or other types of procedures requiring anesthesia. We bridge the gap between floor nurses and OR/Procedure Nurses. The care that we give patients in the Perioperative setting is crucial to positive patient outcomes.
