We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to work in our Foothill Ranch, CA office. Entry-level applicants must have identifiable characteristics that complement the company's core values: Quality, Customer-Focus, Accountability, Integrity, and Communication. The qualified individual will be an integral part in supporting the needs of the accounting team, the executive team, and other Sr. Manager/Directors across multiple departments as necessary. You will come into this role with basic knowledge of working in an office setting and will possess the skillset to multitask different projects and duties efficiently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide general office duties and services to executive team and other Sr. Managers/Directors across multiple functions. * Performing basic office tasks like answering phones, distributing and processing office mail, responding to emails to support the accounting team. * MS Office tasks such as modifying and creating spreadsheets in Excel and letters under Word * Knowledge of buying online, eBay, and browser searching * Calling and follow-up with vendors for special project needs * Coordination and handling of discrete and confidential information * Provide recommendations to management on processes and procedures * Assist when needed in other functions of the accounting team including AP/AR, collection, order entry, and payroll QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma is required; Undergrad is preferred but not necessary * 1+ year general office experience * Working knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures is a plus * Must have the ability to work well independently and within a group setting * Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Possess good oral and written communication skills * Valid CA Driver's License and insurance for running errands, if needed * MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables a plus but not required * Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills * Ability to work within deadlines * Excellent organizational skills and time-management abilities SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES: This is a non-supervisory position. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: General office skills and dexterity are required. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
