Chrysalis SECTOR Program Overview: The SECTOR Program will provide vocational training and support to Chrysalis clients who have been involved in the criminal justice system. The program launched in January 2021 and will be centered around partnerships with leading training providers in Los Angeles focused on industries including social assistance, healthcare, government, hospitality, information technology (IT), and more. We are also creating internal training programs within Chrysalis. Led by LA County's Justice, Care, and Opportunities Department (JCOD), the SECTOR Program is aimed at (1) reducing unemployment and increasing earnings; (2) reducing recidivism; and (3) improving behavioral health and well-being by preparing and matching people with justice involvement to jobs in high-growth industries. The program seeks to serve individuals who have encountered the criminal or juvenile justice system and have a history of mild to moderate mental health and/or substance use disorders. Chrysalis will work closely with training partners to skill up clients, while also providing critical support through employment coaching to support clients in getting ready for, finding, and keeping a job. Job Summary: The SECTOR Program Administrator is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven individual who plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the SECTOR program. This position supports a vocational training program service to individuals who have previously been involved with the criminal justice system and is essential to ensuring seamless coordination between clients, Career Coaches, training partners, and leadership. Facilitate Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI) career preparation classes and provide support during client engagement activities. Collect and maintain all required information from training providers to enroll clients or implement trainings. Develop and distribute a monthly SECTOR newsletter for clients, featuring job leads, training opportunities, and community resources. Monitor and respond to inquiries through the SECTOR program email account, ensuring timely and professional communication.     The Senior Internal Operations Manager (SIOM) is an integral part of the Internal Operations team which handles the coordinated back-office duties for all Chrysalis Employment Social Enterprises (ESE's). Reporting to the Vice President of Development and Communications, the person plays a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding our annual fundraising goal of $2 million+ from individual donors. The candidate should be entrepreneurial and a collaborative team player, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. The candidate should have demonstrated success in frontline major gift fundraising, have excellent communications and relationship building skills, and demonstrated experience in fundraising database management. Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Donor Management (65%) * Make a significant and proportional contribution to meet the organization's fundraising goals, with an annual goal of personally soliciting a minimum of $400,000 in gifts. * In collaboration with the CEO, VP of Development and Communications and Director of External Relations OC, develop a comprehensive annual plan for identifying, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects and donors, including goals, timelines, budgets, development and implementation of prospect strategies. * Manage a portfolio of approximately 75-100 major donors and prospects through the entire moves management cycle to secure and sustain gifts from high-net-worth individuals, including discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. * Engage in substantive personal contact (in-person or by Zoom) with a minimum of twelve donors and prospects each month, and conduct a regular schedule of calls, emails and invitations to events or other engagement opportunities with portfolio prospects. * Arrange meaningful opportunities for senior leadership to meet with potential donors and volunteers to increase financial support for the organization, including facilities tours, hosted events, etc. * Explore opportunities for engaging, cultivating, and soliciting new and more diverse audiences, through outreach, initiatives and events.
