Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Lodge Manager & Transport Captain
Transport crew daily to and from the lodge.
Communicate with the Port Captain to identify problems and expedite repairs.
Managed the food and beverage team and daily operations.
Conduct meetings with staff to solve problems and logistics at the lodge.
Maintain a regular maintenance schedule on vessel & lodge equipment: Oil & coolant levels, fuel filters, batteries, and other machinery.
Maintain and assess safety protocols of Lodge and Crew.
Ensure proper PPE and fire prevention standards within the operations.

Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position in an acute care hospital, requiring an Alaska RN license and cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population.
Responsibilities
Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital
Patient ratio is 1:2
Care for a complex patient population with unique social backgrounds
Required to work every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday)
Night shifts (4x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
Floating required within scope to all areas of LDR/PPU as needed
Self-scheduling is available
Documentation is completed using Cerner
Must demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity towards the Alaska Native community
Patient population is complex and may involve significant social issues such as domestic violence
No on-call responsibilities required
Scrubs of any color or pattern are allowed in L&D/OR, and are provided for the unit
No cost for parking in the designated parking structure
First-time travelers are accepted
Requirements
Active RN license (AK or Compact, but must apply for AK license prior to start and provide proof of application)
Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Current certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, NRP
Cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native patient population required
Not open to local candidates living within a 50-mile radius
