Under close supervision, receive assignments and review claim and policy information to provide background for investigation and may determine the extent of the policy's obligation to the insured, depending on the line of business.
Contact, interview, and obtain statements (recorded or in person) from insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, police officers, etc., to secure necessary claim information.
Evaluate facts supplied by the investigation to determine the extent of liability of the insured, if any, and the extent of the company's obligation to the insured under the policy contract.
Prepare reports on investigations, settlements, denials of claims, and individual evaluations of involved parties.
Set reserves within authority limits and recommend reserve changes to the Team Leader.
Review progress and status of claims with the Team Leader and discuss problems and suggested remedial actions.
Prepare and submit to the Team Leader any unusual or potentially undesirable exposures.
Assist the Team Leader in developing methods and improvements for handling claims.
Settle claims promptly and equitably.
Obtain releases, proofs of loss, or compensation agreements and issue company drafts for payments on claims.
Inform claimants, insureds/customers, or attorneys of claim denials when applicable.
Assist the Team Leader and company attorneys in preparing cases for trial by arranging for witness attendance and taking statements. Continue efforts to settle claims before trial.
Participate in claim file reviews and audits with customers/insureds and brokers.
Administer benefits timely and appropriately. Maintain control of the claims resolution process to minimize current exposure and future risks.
Education & Experience:
1-3 years' experience in handling workers' compensation claims in Defense Based Act/Longshore is preferred, with prior experience at ESIS or similar third-party administrators being advantageous, and/or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with workers' compensation laws, medical terminology, and best practices in claims handling is preferred.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in claims management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with external investigative sources and insureds over the phone.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100K-$125K per year at the commencement of employment. Responsible for legal support activities related to the disposition of information security incidents and/or data privacy events.

Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with some experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm or with Cybersecurity or Data Privacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, timeliness, efficiency, responsiveness, and workload management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge of legal customs and practices.
Certified Information Privacy Professional and/or other data privacy certifications is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Loan Closing (Affordable Housing Focus):
Manage a pipeline of affordable housing loan closings from commitment through funding, including construction loans, permanent loans, and bond financings.
Coordinate extensively with internal stakeholders (underwriting, legal, portfolio management, credit risk, operations) and external parties (counsel, developers, syndicators, investors, government agencies).
Review and analyze complex legal documentation, including loan agreements, partnership agreements, deeds of trust, regulatory agreements, and intercreditor agreements, to ensure all conditions precedent to closing are met.
Exhibit a strong understanding of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other tax credit programs, ensuring compliance requirements are meticulously integrated into the closing process.
Oversee the satisfaction of all pre-closing conditions, track critical deadlines, and manage the collection and review of all required documentation.
Facilitate the ordering and review of third-party reports, title insurance, and surveys.
Prepare and/or review closing statements, disbursement schedules, and wire instructions.
Proactively identify and resolve potential closing issues, collaborating with all parties to ensure smooth and efficient transaction completion.
Broader Transaction Management & Lifecycle Support:
Contribute to the build and development of processes to support loan origination and lifecycle management for a variety of loan types, including corporate, commercial, real estate, structured, syndicated, and bilateral loans, as well as trade finance.
Assist with the creation and continuous improvement of processes, standards, procedures, controls, and training for transaction management.
Aid in the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of technology solutions related to loan lifecycle management.
Provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents.
Ensure that data quality, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements and expectations.
Work with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to ensure end-to-end transparency.
Participate in projects aimed at enhancing performance and efficiency, including loan remediation and loan system testing/migrations.
Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions and lifecycle events.
Capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, and perform quality control for loan transactions.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience & Expertise:
2-5 years of relevant experience in loan closing or transaction management within financial services, with a strong preference for affordable housing finance.
Demonstrated expertise in affordable housing finance, including a thorough understanding of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), tax-exempt bonds, and other subsidy programs.
Strong knowledge of real estate legal documentation, title and survey review, and closing mechanics.

The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst VP is responsible for contributing to the directional strategy and assisting in creation and modification of Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others.
Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and/or Data Risk and Control framework
Provide expertise on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls framework including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processes
Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting
Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out, including new Data risk taxonomy and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework
Gather and synthesize metrics on existing Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls principles, policies, practices and standards, e.g., understanding industry best practices
Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices
Determine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles, policies, processes and practices as needed
Develop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes and practices
Qualifications:
6+ years relevant experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
Requires basic commercial awareness
Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Liaison between GSO, RES, and Citi business users

Qualifications:
