Other major duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Managing profit and growth for the assigned territory and book of business within the following lines of business/market segments: Property, General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Automobile, Umbrella and Foreign program placements.
Soliciting, risk selection and analysis (including documentation), pricing and sales of products and services for renewal and new business.
Successful market penetration and agency management including acting as a key contact to build, maintain, and manage customer/producer relationships (including regular agency visits based on business need).
Assist with agency planning and goal setting including monitoring of progress.
Identifying cross sell opportunities.
Meeting with prospective and renewal customers, to make sales presentations and negotiate coverage's, price, financial terms and service delivery, as necessary.
Working in a team environment with Underwriters, UA's, Loss Control, Claims & Field Operations.
Meeting service standards of a customer focused strategy.
Collecting and sharing competitor data with team.
Coordination and collaboration with the P&C Underwriting Center
Assisting in managing execution of middle market underwriting and renewal underwriting strategies.
Serving as a technical resource for referrals and underwriting authority for Underwriters based on technical background. Point of contact for branch risks which fall outside of field authority; coordinate efforts with Home Office/Product and Segment leaders.
Assisting in monitoring underwriting quality through quarterly self-audits, referral interactions, and Corporate Underwriting audits.
Staff Development and Administration, including performance management and compensation, new hire onboarding, training and developing, succession planning, coaching and mentoring, and retention of staff.
Proficiency of commercial underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices.
Demonstrated technical expertise and product specific knowledge in multi-line property & casualty.
Proficient in the Multinational Underwriting and foreign program placements.

The pay range for the role is $145,000 to $200,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. Provide support to assigned agencies with new client development sales matters. This includes:
Agency training to understand Chubb's products, services and competitive advantages.
Marketing campaigns, events and corporate directives that are designed for new customer development such as new business guideline changes.
Analyze new business trends including quote volume, quality and hit ratio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned agents and brokers to meet or exceed financial objectives for assigned territory.
Follow disciplined sales process to ensure consistent execution of best practices, including agency assessment, business plans and Salesforce documentation.
Participate in internal meetings and report on results as appropriate.
Work with agents and underwriting on new client quotes.
Collaborate and interact with Sales, Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Product, Claims and Branch Administration.

The pay range for the role is $80,500 to $137,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
