Machine Operator - Weekends Pay Rate: $22.95/hour plus shift differential Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Position Overview Operate as a fully participating and effective team member on a production line, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor performance and workflow in areas such as safety, housekeeping, productivity, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities Operate at least one major piece of equipment on packaging lines. Perform minor Preventive Maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, adjustments). Assist Mechanics/Line Technicians with Planned Maintenance. Complete daily safety checks, quality checks, and housekeeping tasks. Clear equipment jams and ensure recycling compliance for empty component boxes. Use computer interface panels to operate equipment. Maintain equipment and perform full changeovers, washouts, and sanitizations. Follow SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety procedures. Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues immediately. ROLE SUMMARY: This position has overall responsibility for all facets of the maintenance department in a lean manufacturing and distribution environment, including direct supervision of both salaried and hourly personnel.
