We are seeking a proven self-motivated sales leader to guide a team of driven insurance sales professionals as a Region Manager within the Direct Writer segment of Sentry. You will play a vital role in driving success by managing a team of 6-8 sales professionals focused on commercial insurance, 401(k) plans, and life insurance. Your leadership will be crucial in developing and implementing plans that foster team success in sales, recruitment, customer retention and achieving financial goals.

What You'll Do
Develop, coach and travel with each of your team members to enhance sales skills that grows their book of business and maximizes their sales opportunities
Recruit and train new members on your team, while providing leadership and encouraging high morale within your region
Monitor, review and evaluate your team's development
Manage expenses within your territory
Maintain state licensing and engage in continuous learning to enhance knowledge and sales skills
Assist your team with software programs and systems used in our sales process
Prepare reports relating to production, loss ratios, etc.
What it Takes
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of related work experience, preferably leading a sales team
Strong sales, communication and relationship building skills
A self-disciplined individual that can thrive in a remote work environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, communicate effectively both written and verbal, and remain organized
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with a valid driver's license and able to meet travel requirements
Required to have primary residence within your sales region
Based on qualifications and experience, the starting base salary range is $102,235 - $140,530. When combined with incentive pay, and dependent on new and renewal business generated from the team by the territories in your region, this role may earn an estimated total annual income between $170,085-$263,380.

Handle renewal order and initiate renewal processing and billing. Follow up on security and agreement issues.
Demonstrate an understanding of the insurance marketplace and emerging industry issues.

Handle day-to-day service issues including retro adjustment and audit questions.
Be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive Stewardship Reports that will include benchmark targets and results.

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The Account Executive (AE), National Property will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. As an AE, you are decisive, detail-oriented, and know how to build relationships internally and externally to drive results. Your ability to assess risk and sell our products will contribute to the profitability and success of Travelers.
**What Will You Do?**
+ Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
+ Underwrite and skillfully negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability. Additionally, occasionally negotiate and procure reinsurance to underwrite complex accounts.
+ May facilitate the placement of foreign admitted policies, serve as a resource to field Account Executives on global underwriting capabilities, as well as assist in the business development activities for such global underwriting services.
+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners within the business unit and across the enterprise to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
+ Foster and maintain relationships with external partners by regularly meeting in person with agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products with a goal of writing and retaining accounts consistent with our risk appetite. Must be able to travel to such meetings.

+ Bachelor's degree.

The Account Executive (AE), National Property will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. * Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
