Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
Ensure security monitors keep records of children entry/and exit of the premises by recording the date, time, and destination.
Keep records of all vendors, service providers, attorneys, MVM, ICE and Border Patrol entry/and exit of the shelter.
Ensure monthly/quarterly radio check logs of two-way radios are completed
Keep control of the main gate access by providing remote surveillance and automated access control.
Ensure security monitors maintain record of all safety equipment including fire extinguishers, fire exits alarms, smoke detectors, first aid kits, evacuation routes and assists with monthly fire drills.
Training security monitors how to provide constant monitoring of the surveillance system and ensuring line of sight; provides support by informing department leads of any areas where additional staff may be required.
Ensure security monitors assist Youth Care Workers, Medical, Case Managers and Clinicians departments with headcounts by providing support where needed.
Coordinate staff schedules and approves or denies personal time off requests and/or holiday leave requests.
Responsible for addressing employee performance issues in a timely manner and maintaining documentation of conversations.
Must be computer literate and possess basic computer skills, such as data entry and usage of Microsoft Office.
Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Proficiency in Spanish/English (written and spoken language skills), highly preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Google tools.
Successfully pass a TB test annually.
Successfully pass a drug screen.
Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned task.

* Supervises event security staff around the complex as needed.

Responsibilities
Supervises event security staff around the complex as needed.
Ensures officers are in place and positions are covered prior to event start times.
Provides guest assistance during the event.
Monitors perimeter doors to ensure no unauthorized access is gained to the event.
Monitors guests during ingress/egress for disruptive or inappropriate actions.
Monitors credentials of all personnel entering the backstage and other restricted areas.
Monitors and maintains a clear and safe passage route in and around floor level accessible seating area(s).
Monitors and maintains the safety of the performing band members, staff as it relates to the stage security and integrity of the event. (Stage Security Only)
Maintains aisles and insures guests are in their proper seat locations.
Responsible for maintaining general crowd control.
Assists guests in the event of an emergency evacuation.
Conducts visual guest inspections and checks all bags as required by OVG policy.
Operates walk through and/or hand held metal detector units.
Performs other duties as required by the Assistant Manager.
Prepares appropriate reports and forms as required by department policy.
Ensures that housekeeping, safety, alcohol control and security issues comply with department policies.
Performs special projects as needed or requested.
Qualifications
Must be able to manage, coach and council employees.
Must have a general knowledge of the security industry, specifically in the crowd management areas of public events.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills along with the ability to make quick decisions.
Must demonstrate the ability to work well under stress and exercise good judgment, diplomacy, courtesy and tact under all circumstances.

The escorts will provide unarmed but security escorts (Construction Site Observers CSOs) for general Contractors, and their subcontractors, conducting construction activities at Building 5454 at Barksdale AFB, LA. Helps to issue employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Maintains lock and key records. Perform daily surveillance duty as required.
