We are looking for a Churn Operator to undertake the responsibility to prepare and formulate batches in accordance with specified ranges. The Churn Operator will be responsible for setting up and performing routine operations including inventory verification, loading, mixing, pumping, packaging, & maintaining formulation specifications. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand formulas, use proper equipment specified, and inspect batch and raw material quality during the process. Performs other related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of chemical manufacturing experience with a High School diploma or equivalent. Secondary or vocational training, or a combination of education and experience required. Strong communication skills and basic computer skills including working with spreadsheets and other documents. Basic reading and math skills sufficient to allow accurate execution of batch tickets and procedures. Hazardous waste training a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, higher amounts with mechanical assistance. Use of lifting equipment and various types of fork trucks (training will be provided and required).
