Sorry I'm just now seeing this! I just got off work, and I smell like fajitas. The creamy jalapeno dip is crazy popular. I am personally not a huge fan of it, mainly because I have to make it sometimes. Really takes the fun out of it haha. To answer your question, Chuys has an amazing culture. It really is free spirited and you can get away with a lot here that you can't in other restaurants. For instance, I have the ability to crack jokes and make innuendos that I could never get away with at other places. Occasionally I'll get a customer who complains,usually on a sunday morning, about my humor. 9/10 times though, people eat it up and laugh it up!! Our t-shirts even have some great jokes on them. Most of them are pop culture references. One of my personal favorites is the Bill Clinton shirt. It has a picture of Billy Jeff saying "I did not have tex-mex with that woman." Most of our younger staff don't get it, but the adults and folks who remember the 90's love it! Secret menu items! So many to choose from. A staff favorite is to order the Elvis Green Chili Fried Chicken, with Boom Boom Sauce and a Fried Egg on top. Amaze-balls. Actually anything with boom boom sauce and a fried egg is delicious. They pair so well and so unexpectedly together. Fairfax, Va has a different specialty menu than the one I work at. All Chuys do. As we say, "If you've been to one Chuys, you've been to one Chuys!" Don't be afraid to try new combinations, and of course as your server what their favorites are. All the trainers at the new locations come from the home office in Austin, Texas. I've worked with several of them and they can definitely come up with some crazy delicious concoctions! I hope you continue to enjoy Chuys! Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and I hope you continue to give us the chance to impress you. TL;DR: Giant wall of text about how delicious and awesome Chuys is. Seriously, go read it.
