This position is essential in maintaining cleanliness, organizing inventory, and accurately picking and packing product for delivery. You'll also help unload shipments and assist across warehouse operations as needed. What You'll Do
Accurately pull and pack product based on invoices and production sheets
Assist with staging and verifying inventory for delivery
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including floors, coolers, racks, and outdoor areas
Support receiving processes, including unloading, inventory checks, and storage
Maintain a fast, efficient pace to meet production timelines
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams
Take initiative and ownership to complete tasks thoroughly and on time
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring

Able to meet deadlines and manage priorities
Ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
Comfort using cleaning equipment (floor machines, power washers, etc.)
Basic counting skills

Inventory Control Specialist - West Hospital

Onsite at West Hospital. Hours are Mon-Fri from 5:30a-2p. Also required to work 1 Saturday for annual inventory.
Maintains accurate inventory levels and ensures inventory is available and ready for use. Coordinates disposal, return, and reallocation of obsolete items in the inventory. Files claims with manufacturers when defective goods are found in inventory. Audits inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management. Coordinates with Buyers to keep up to date status of shipments and tracking information. Serves as a liaison with shipping companies to ensure the most timely and cost effective shipping methods are utilized. Maintains replenishment of logistics and distribution office supplies. This position may require weekend coverage.
Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of Inventory Management experience.
Must be able to work side by side with clinical staff and other departments.
Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Requires proven experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Requires Enterprise Resource Management or Warehouse Management System experience.
Previous inventory audit experience is preferred.
Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30-days of hire.
Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 2-4 hours per day).
Requires the occasional ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
Performs inventory control functions, including but not limited to PAR level utilization and management, contract compliance, ensuring reliability of procurement and timely distribution of supplies and management of about to expire and expired products.
Knowledge and understanding of inventory control and ordering process.
Tracks inventory of assigned areas on a regular basis.
Consistently rotates products using first in first out technique (FIFA), replenishes supplies, and communicates back orders and/or changes on products to department manager and appropriate personnel.
Prepares documents, maintains records, requisitions and related reports for supplies.
Creates and maintains related files.
Performs all other inventory and miscellaneous duties as directed by the manager.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 3 months inventory control experience. Skills and Knowledge: Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages and to read and write common vocabulary. Must be able to push/pull/lift 50+ pounds.
