In this role, you will manage, investigate, and resolve assigned Property Contents Claims that present high exposure or more complex under limited supervision. You will inspect, compile and value inventory of damaged/lost contents associated with property claims and provide policyholders with exceptional customer service. You may assist Claims Representatives with in-person inspection/policyholder contact where necessary, and act as technical resource for other Contents Specialists.

Responsibilities:
Handles a majority of large loss claims assigned under little supervision.
Investigates, determines coverage of loss, and adjusts all elements of Property Loss claims of high severity.
Performs full on-site inventory inspection and scope of damages and able to communicate such to both policyholders and vendors.
Provides quality customer service. Provides insured with policy information to include coverage, limitations, and able to explain settlement effectively.
Oversees coordination of contents vendors, some which are third-party -including contractors, emergency repair teams, and cleaning services, negotiates service scopes and estimates, monitors performance, and ensure compliance with contract terms and safety standards.
May be asked to perform field assist on files handled by other property departments with in-person inspection and/or policyholder contact when needed.
Takes initiative to stay current on personal‑property standards, market trends, and products through continuing education, seminars, and industry publications.
Qualifications
Strong written and oral communications skills required.
Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills required
Effective negotiation skills.
Customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of coverages provided within various homeowner policies.
Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exhibiting good judgment.
Experience in interior design, electronics, appliances, antique-collectibles, clothing and furniture retail preferred.
The capabilities, skills and knowledge required is normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
Completion of advanced property training.

The overall purpose of the Behavioral Health Care Advocate is to improve the enrollee's ability to remain stable in the community and out of the hospital. Care Advocates engage people in the treatment process and assist them to access the appropriate community services so they can pursue their treatment goals in the community and avoid institutionalization. Primary Responsibilities:
Identify and provide community service linkage
Assist enrollees with aftercare appointments
Provide subsequent member follow-up as determined by individual member needs
Work with enrollees to identify gaps in care or obstacles to care and problem solve for successful connection to needed services
Review IP Census each day to determine which enrollees on the census are re-admits within the last 12 months
Go to facility meetings with treatment team to develop a successful aftercare plan
Manage the aftercare follow-up of identified high risk enrollees (manage follow-up calls/outreach and documentation)
Meet with community providers/facilities as company liaison to foster good rapport and relationships and to identify new programs

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Clinical Review nurse has the responsibility of reviewing the medical necessity, appropriateness, quality and efficiency of services in the appropriate setting for Workers' Compensation claimants. This position assesses the medical appropriateness of proposed treatments and medications for our injured employees, and partners with the AmTrust Claims Adjuster team to expedite medically necessary treatment for each claim. They also review pharmacy authorizations to determine appropriateness of pharmaceutical treatment. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities
Perform Utilization Review activities prospectively, concurrently, or retrospectively in accordance with the appropriate jurisdictional guidelines.
Uses clinical/nursing skills to determine whether all aspects of a patient's care, at every level, are medically necessary and appropriately delivered.
Responsible for helping to ensure injured employees receive appropriate level and intensity of care directly related to the compensable injury using industry standard and/or state specific medical treatment guidelines and formularies.
Objectively and critically assesses all information related to the current treatment request to make the appropriate medical necessity determination.
Sends determination letters as needed to requesting physician(s) and refers to physician advisors for second level reviews as necessary.
Responsible for accurate comprehensive documentation of Utilization Review activities in the case management and pharmacy benefit management systems.
Responsible for completing timely reviews according to state's requirements and communicating the UR determination to all parties.
Uses clinical/nursing skills to help coordinate the individual's treatment program while maximizing quality and cost-effectiveness of care.
Communicates effectively with providers, claims adjuster, client, and other parties as needed to expedite appropriate medical care
Keeps current with market trends and demands.
Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Active unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States with eligibility to get and/or renew a multistate license.
5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include 2+ years of direct clinical care OR2+ years of utilization management required.
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred. Certification in case management, pharmacy, rehabilitation nursing or a related specialty is highly preferred.
Acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required to comply with state requirements. Preferred for license(s) to be obtained within three - six months of starting the job.

Quality Control: Review completed endorsements and renewals for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
Serve as point of contact for agents/brokers by gathering information on behalf of the underwriters, answering questions, resolving low complexity issues, facilitating overall serving of accounts and processing business transactions not requiring review/signoff by an underwriter.
Monitor and process incoming work within Policy Support resource mailboxes and other assigned workflows
Send market block notifications to producers following outlined protocols.
Routinely communicate with team members, agents/brokers and other key business partners to research and gather necessary information to review, analyze and complete transactions.
Utilize and adhere to internal guidelines, procedures, and service standards to ensure that all assigned work/transactions are processed in a timely manner (yet accurately) and meet compliance standards.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the team, customer needs are met, and business results are achieved.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work Experience/Skill Sets
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
1-2 years of relevant experience in underwriting support preferred.
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Ability to follow process and attention to details.
Willingness to work toward insurance designation. (AINS)
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary for the position is $25 - $29 per hour with a 5% bonus potential.
