CBTS Enterprise IT Solutions Teams are looking for a Network & Systems Administrator to support a customer site in West Jefferson, NC. This candidate is expected to be a self-starter with at least 3-4 years of experience in IT.
In this role, the IT Administrator will be working on-site at shop floor installing hardware, documenting inventory, post migration testing and additional IT responsibilities. The IT Admin will be working closely with the Digital Technology Lead on-site to assist with deployment tasks to support the Operational Technology Network. The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer systems. Builds and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.
Primary responsibilities
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Network cable (copper & Fiber) installation, testing, removal
• Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
• Assists with Network Obsolescence/Refresh cycles.
• Maintain network and system security.
• Support Network hardware security patching / firmware upgrades.
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
• Evaluate and modify system's performance.
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
• Perform network address assignment.
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.

Job Description
The Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for defining the principles, standards, and design patterns to build secure products and enterprise tools for all of Cox Automotive's multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This position's architecture focus is on securing multi-cloud infrastructure and services and on-premises infrastructure. Peer cybersecurity architects will be focused on application security, software as a service (SaaS), and network security.This role will use their deep cybersecurity knowledge in the designing and building of secure infrastructure and services in both multi-cloud and on-premises environments. They must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the organization and propose well-defined cybersecurity architectural guidelines to be adopted by product and enterprise engineering teams. This role will directly report to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture at Cox Automotive.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and recommend relevant cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
Drive the definition of cybersecurity guidelines across the product and enterprise architecture group by leading working groups focused on cybersecurity.
Develop secure design patterns in conjunction with the product and enterprise architecture group based on standards that can be adopted and implemented by engineering teams.
Contribute to the development of non-cyber architecture-related governance patterns, policies, and standards.
Provides complex analysis of potential risks to information systems' security and recommends innovative solutions.
Work with cross-functional technical, development and delivery teams to ensure the application of smooth, efficient and scalable release processes.
Engage with business teams and engineering teams to define cybersecurity guardrails that promote efficient and seamless adoption of secure design patterns.
Participate in security events and incident response to identify gaps in current design and propose solutions to prevent threats from reoccurring.
Research and evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend appropriate solutions and enhancements.
Collaborate with data users, software and other technical stakeholders to ensure security considerations are factored into and underpin development and operational decision making.
Collaborate with cybersecurity peers to incorporate vulnerability management, governance, risk and compliance, cyber defense, continuous controls monitoring, and identity governance into cybersecurity standards as a cohesive cybersecurity organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years of experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field.
At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
Must have practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services and on-premises infrastructure.
Clearly articulate the objective of specific cybersecurity policies and procedures to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent customer service skills, writing, and executive presentation skills.
Develop a strong and productive working environment with key stakeholders and collaborate closely with other Cox entities' cybersecurity teams to implement cybersecurity best practices.
Consultative nature to work through controversial or complex topics to employees, leaders, and/or senior leadership.
Evaluate risks and recommend actions based on impact and likelihood of the risk to the business.
Knowledge of current cybersecurity and technology architectures such as zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization.
Creatively solving complex cybersecurity challenges while exhibiting solid, pragmatic business acumen.
Experience utilizing Agile methodologies.
Initiating change and deploying solutions in Fortune 1000 companies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and industry relevant regulations that will guide architectural requirements (e.g., GDPR, FFIEC, GLBA).
Collaborate with AI agents to create, validate, and assess architectural artifacts
Lead cross-functional teams in designing AI-enhanced solutions, establish standards for AI integration, and assess AI technologies within solution architectures.
Implement AI-driven architectural governance and compliance by defining robust AI governance frameworks and reference architectures.
Improve vendor tool assessments using AI to speed evaluations and minimize mistakes and unknowns.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the development and design of cybersecurity standard methodologies to all layers of the hosting and application stack in both cloud and on-premises environments.
Relevant experience with application security, SaaS, network security, DevSecOps, and software-defined networking across a variety of environments and deployments.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), cryptography / key management, secrets management, access controls and security protocols (e.g., multi-factor, SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
Experience with application security implementations and standard methodologies.
Extensive technology knowledge and recognized expertise in several areas including Python, .NET, Java, Spring frameworks, Oracle, serverless, cloud patterns, cloud service and user authentication or similar.
Experience with firewall, web application firewalls, and other edge services as well as deep understanding of DMZ and other network architectures.
AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Experience establishing a strategy for and implementing cloud enterprise solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
A strong understanding of cloud containers and/or serverless platforms (e.g., EKS, ECS, Lambda, Fargate).
Big four consulting or Fortune 500 company experience.

OBJECTIVE:
Lead the physical installation of communications systems on all assigned projects. Work alongside the project team to ensure safety and quality objectives are met by adhering to industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Post Project Meetings: Provide input to Project Manager on project management processes, procedures, tools, and best practice improvement. Give recommendations to Sales and Engineering on improvement areas and project successes.
Service: Responsible to support Service ticket completion as assigned and provide support to CEC's 24/7 On Call rotation.

5+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.

Compensation Information:
The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of 125-185K. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location to provide consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. NOC Tier 3 Network Engineer

The available position is for a Tier 3 Network Engineer contract to hire to support a long-tenured client major enterprise Fortune 100 customer. The candidate will be supporting multiple services and technologies across the environment. The position will be located on-site in Seattle, WA due to the requirements of the position.
The Tier 3 Network Engineer will ensure delivery and design appropriate plans for incident recovery, network changes and adherence to configuration standards. The Tier 3 Network Engineer needs to apply technical expertise in routing and switching (Cisco Nexus especially), load-balancing, firewalls and wireless to consult with Operations Engineering and/or suppliers. The engineer will utilize their knowledge to review engineering standards and develop tactical plans to ensure Network Operations, partners and suppliers are meeting technical requirements. The Tier 3 resource may also assist or oversee major incidents, major change or introduction of new technologies within the environment.
Primary Job Functions:
• Responsible for the technical success of network services within the environment. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Strategy
Contributor into the development of the Network Operations Strategy and into supporting organizational strategies.
Accountable for developing and socializing technical solution and process based strategies for functions within defined roles and responsibilities.
Responsible for influencing the strategies of peer organizations ensuring that their strategic plans are in alignment with the technical direction of Network Operations and/or Strategy and Architecture.
Ensure that all new network services are designed to deliver the levels of availability required by the business, and validate the final service design to meet operational needs of the business to ensure excellent service delivery
• Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership during major incidents and drive to quick resolutions
Coach team members on a proactive basis, raising the team's overall technical acumen
Work with service providers to ensure the proper level of technical acumen and quality are executed within the contracted services
Understand the approach required to influence and motivate managed services resources to deliver technically sound services
• Process
Thought leadership with process designs. Responsible for developing and evolving operational procedures. Examine & document existing processes, evaluate them within the context of availability and maintainability of Network Services.
Identify areas in need of process documentation and work with the teams to create, document and train the process
Responsible for development of operational run-books based on industry best practices for improving compliance to engineering standards in the network domain, including the audit of existing configurations for quality and compliance
Identify the need for technical process improvement plans, and work with leaders to create and socialize plans; manage all or a portion of the execution of the improvement plan
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices regarding network operations
• Develop strong working relationships with peers, collateral support teams, and customers.
• Develop and evolve operational procedures, KPI's and other key network measurement benchmarks.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to service and network operations personnel.
Education / Experience:
Required Skills:
• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Business or equivalent experience related field
• 7+ years of experience in technology related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in operationally focused positions
• 7+ years of supporting enterprise level, mission critical systems in either a large IT shared services organization or telecom service provider environment
• Commensurate knowledge and understanding of MPLS, Wireless & Controller, Ethernet, Cisco HW and SW (IOS/CATOS/NX-OS), WAN Acceleration technologies, Firewalls, IPS, Load Balancer, Security protocols (IPSEC/TLS/EAP), QoS and IP Multicast
• Commensurate knowledge of TCP/IP version 4 and other network services required to run a complex corporate network
• 3+ years of hands on admin and change experience with firewall technologies - Juniper, Checkpoint, CISCO a plus
• Requires at least 1 active technical certification from a major technology supplier (Cisco, Juniper, F5, etc.)
• 5+ years' progressive data communications experience in WAN/MAN/LAN/Wi-Fi/Data Center operational support, configuration, evaluation, incident resolution and problem management, in a 24x7x365 support environment.
• 3+ years' experience in the utilization of data communications test equipment and network management systems (e.g., sniffers, Wireshark, OPNET, NetScout, ReliaTel, NAGIOS, and software based management systems such as OpenView, SevOne, Smarts, Riverbed CMC, JunOS Space, NetBrain, NetCool, etc.)
• Knowledge of and experience with major routing protocols like RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, RMTP, OSPF, etc., and telecommunications connectivity including MPLS, Private Line, Metro Ethernet, Site-to-Site VPN, and Internet.
• Working knowledge of DNS/DHCP, load-balancers, Wan Accelerators, and other network technologies.
• Additional Skills:
• Prefer at least 1 professional level certification from a major technology supplier (CCNP, JNCIP, etc.)
• Experience with zoning firewall environments with an ability to work with VAP groups.

Position Requirements:
• Familiarity with the capabilities and problems of a broad spectrum of hardware and transmission technologies (e.g., cabling, optical fiber, WAN and transport, routing, firewalls, LAN/VLANs switches, SDN, etc.)
• Ability to understand complex network infrastructure and provide technical appropriate leadership
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at various levels across diverse cultures
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Understanding of how IT technology supports the various Business Segments of the company
• Sound knowledge and understanding of all types of LAN environments (equipment hardware, software and cabling environment to support Ethernet, single mode and multi-mode fiber optics, CISCO Nexus, ASR, F5, Juniper, MacAfee, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL concepts, Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide array of technical and managerial personnel to resolve complex problems.
• Ability to direct and interact during major outages and/or initiatives
• Ability to construct action plans and provide oversight to ensure delivery
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Ability to be on-call (including weekends and holidays)
