    Duties: Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center seeks Associate Professor in Cincinnati, OH to provide high-quality anesthetic care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic procedures, including those requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and mechanical circulatory support. The faculty position also entails active participation in clinical research, academic teaching, and program development within the Heart Institute and the Department of Anesthesiology. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate anesthetic care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents undergoing congenital cardiac procedures; Providing expert intraoperative and perioperative management, including preoperative evaluation, induction and maintenance of anesthesia, and postoperative pain control for cardiac patients; Collaborating with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes; Serving as a consultant in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, including the provision of second opinions and subspecialty referrals; Contributing to the development of advanced cardiac anesthetic protocols and quality improvement initiatives; Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating room, ICU, and other clinical settings; Preparing and delivering regular didactic teaching sessions in pediatric cardiac anesthesiology; Evaluating and mentoring trainees to ensure clinical excellence and professional development; Participating in and leading research in areas such as cardiopulmonary bypass, postoperative outcomes, pharmacology, and congenital heart disease; Publishing original research, reviews, or book chapters in the field of pediatric cardiac anesthesia; Participating in clinical trials and other scholarly investigations related to pediatric cardiac anesthesiology; Contributing to national recognition through presentations, publications, and participation in professional societies; Assisting in the design and implementation of clinical care programs distinctive to cardiac anesthesiology at a regional and national level; Engaging in faculty development and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture; Participating in peer review, manuscript editing, and clinical guidelines development within the field. Requirements: M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree. Unrestricted medical license issued by the State of Ohio and DEA license. Completion of residency in anesthesiology either in the U.S. or abroad. Completion of fellowship in international pediatric anesthesiology or pediatric anesthesiology in the U.S. Completion of fellowship in pediatric cardiac anesthesia in the U.S. Professional knowledge and clinical ability sufficient to provide cardiac anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients of congenital heart diseases.     The Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's is seeking a child and adolescent BE/BC psychiatrist with an interest in the treatment and diagnosis of eating disorders in youth at our Linder Center of Hope. Our Mental Health Team uses evidence-based approaches - proven to be the most advanced and most effective - to treat the full spectrum of child and adolescent mental and behavioral health problems. Our Linder Center of Hope location provides intensive inpatient psychiatric services for adolescents ages 12-17 presenting with a range of mental health disorders, including eating disorders (EDO). The inpatient EDO program is looking for collaborative child psychiatrists to join a multidisciplinary team. Future growth includes re-opening of a partial hospitalization program (PHP) to provide intensive step-down care for youth with eating disorders and other mental health disorders. Eating disorder care provided at the Linder Center of Hope includes: * Direct support during meals and snacks for the patient and family support system * Monitoring of weights, vital signs, clinical labs * Active engagement with our Registered Dieticians for nutritional needs and meal planning * Oral and enteral supplementation to meet nutritional needs * Medical consultation with our Adolescent Medicine team * Goal setting that includes the patient and family support system * Individual supportive psychotherapy (daily on inpatient, twice per week in PHP) * Behavioral consultation with individualized behavioral interventions and safety plans * Daily EDO-specific DBT group therapy * Multiple, daily generalized goal-oriented and skill development CBT groups * FBT-informed family support and education * Community partnerships for continuity of EDO care to needed step-down PHP setting, residential care, and outpatient community services Our Mental Health and Eating Disorder Teams are comprised of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Division of Behavioral Medicine & Clinical Psychology, and the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine. We provide multidisciplinary outpatient, intensive outpatient and inpatient psychiatric and medical care to adolescents and young adults and are supported by: * 32 Child Psychiatrists, including 10 Triple Board Trained Psychiatrists * 18 Adolescent medicine physicians * 150 Psychologists, including 3 psychologists who specialize in eating disorders * 44 Psychiatric APRNs * 119 masters-level therapists * 39 Social Workers providing crisis services in the emergency department The Eating Disorder Program at Cincinnati Children's is an interdisciplinary, multi-level program serving children, teens, young adults and their families affected by eating disorders. The outpatient program housed within the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine in partnership with the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology, and Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, offers evidence based, coordinated treatment from a group of 10 physicians, 3 psychologists, 2 dietitians, 2 nurse care managers and a psychiatric APRN. Annual new patient volume approached 600 new cases and a medical stabilization unit at the CCHMC Liberty campus provided over 1,000 patient days of inpatient medical care to malnourished patients last year. Outpatient EDO services include medical treatment for complications of weight loss or purging, family therapy, individual therapy, one-on-one dietician appointments, personalized meal plans and medication management. Faculty appointments are granted through the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine and the level/rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. The Nephrology and Hypertension Division, currently ranked # 3 in U.S. News & World Report's 2024 edition, uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose, treat and manage the care of children and adolescents with the entire spectrum of nephrological, urologic, and hypertensive conditions. We currently encounter over 7,000 outpatients and 7,500 inpatients annually.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Pediatric Neuroradiology Radiologist The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking an ABR/AOBR-certified or eligible radiologist with subspecialty pediatric neuroradiology fellowship training to join our Neuroradiology Imaging division. The division currently has 8 faculty members interpreting nearly 13,000 MRI examinations per year. CCHMC has one of the best epilepsy programs in the country and strong neurosurgical, neurooncology, neurodevelopment, and genetics programs. Multidisciplinary conferences with other services are among the most robust in the institutions, with the Friday neuroimaging case conference the highlight of the week. The case mix is diverse, ranging from basic outpatient radiographic diagnoses to complex imaging on tertiary and quaternary referral patients. The preferred candidate must have solid skills in all aspects of pediatric neuroradiology, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and the desire to collaborate with clinicians to deliver the best imaging care. Our goal is to continually improve the academic and educational aspects of pediatric neuroimaging, and candidates should be prepared to participate in these activities.     The Division of Translational and Clinical Pharmacology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is actively recruiting a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and mission-driven scientist or physician-scientist whose translational research advances pediatric precision medicine, with a focus on optimizing drug safety and efficacy through approaches such as pharmacogenomics, multi-omics, advanced non-invasive new approach methodologies (NAMs), pharmacometrics, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven drug therapy optimization. This position is part of an ambitious strategic expansion to establish the division as a national leader in patient-centric pediatric clinical pharmacology. New faculty will contribute to an environment rich in collaborative research, training, and real-world translation to optimize therapies for children. Key Responsibilities: * Research Leadership: Develop and lead an independent, extramurally funded research program aligned with our focus on mechanisms of drug disposition, safety, and efficacy, with a strong emphasis on clinical translation. The successful candidate is expected to specialize in one or more of the following areas: pharmacogenomics, multi-omics, advanced non-invasive NAMs, pharmacometrics, PBPK/PKPD/QSP modeling, drug-drug interaction, gene-exposome interaction, biomarker discovery, and AI-enhanced therapeutic optimization to inform individualized therapy and improve clinical outcomes. * Collaboration and Team Science: Collaborate across divisions within CCHMC and the University of Cincinnati to integrate translational science with clinical applications in pediatric pharmacology. Engage with national and international partners, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders. * Education and Mentorship: Participate in teaching and training activities for medical and graduate students, postdocs, and fellows. Contribute to curriculum development in pediatric pharmacology, AI in medicine, and systems modeling. * Service and Leadership: Serve on institutional, national, or international committees; contribute to workshops, symposia, and thought leadership in the field of pediatric precision pharmacology.
