Internally, the vice president of advancement collaborates with the president, the development team, communications, alumni, and athletic directors. Externally, the role engages with advisory boards, community leaders, and other stakeholders. The position also oversees approximately fifty volunteers across various committees. Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute alumni, stewardship, and major gift events.
Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift donors and annual fund gifts of $1,000+.
Coordinate prospect visits and follow-up for the president.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies and goals as part of the development leadership team.
Maintain a portfolio of 150 prospects and conduct 175 strategic engagements annually.
Write, submit, and steward grant proposals aligned with school priorities.
Supervise development staff, including the associate director, main event coordinator, and office personnel. Establish a strong culture of succession and professional growth surrounding the advancement team.
Oversee annual giving, alumni relations, and scholarship programs.
Grow the endowment fund.
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive institutional advancement plan, including multi-year fundraising strategies and operating plans with clear annual goals.
Additional Duties
Conduct monthly face-to-face meetings with 15-20 prospects/donors.
Collaborate with the president and staff to set and evaluate annual fundraising goals.
Coordinate activities of volunteer solicitors and ensure consistent follow-up.
Manage donor engagement and stewardship efforts post-visit.
Establish metrics to track progress toward goals and provide regularly scheduled reports to the board, leadership, and donors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of successful fundraising experience, including securing major gifts in the five- and six-figure range.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills highlighted by authentic relationships and demonstrated mission commitment.

The director of college counseling is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive, individualized college counseling program serving Cincinnati Country Day School's students and families. With the collaboration of the associate director of college counseling and the College Counseling Office assistant, the director supervises and carries out a program of group presentations and intensive individual counseling that extends throughout all phases of the college search process. Informed by the CCDS mission of creating leaders and knowing and nurturing each student, the aim of each college search is to assist students in choosing the college that will best serve their intellectual and personal interests and goals - and the office has had very positive feedback over the years on fit for each class. Candidates seeking the position of director of college counseling should have at least five years of experience in the college admissions/college counseling field. A master's degree is preferred. Overseeing an efficient and technologically sophisticated system for the organization of student records, accurate maintenance of student records in the school's counseling software (Naviance or SCOIR), tracking outcomes, and preparing annual reports for internal use;

The individual should possess excellent leadership skills and have a strong desire to serve as a strength and conditioning coach, teacher and mentor. Consult with head coaches to determine team and individual strength, fitness and conditioning needs.
Design and implementation of sport-specific training programs for teams as determined by the head strength and conditioning coach. Emphasis of programming on injury prevention and performance enhancement of student-athletes.
Design and implementation of sport-specific speed and agility programs.
Implement appropriate testing methods to assess fitness levels of athletes' pre- and post- season.
Demonstrate and monitor proper technique in a variety of exercises that will be utilized in the strength and conditioning program, including but not limited to, Olympic lifts, strength and power training, speed/movement skills, flexibility and conditioning.
Collaborate with the Moeller (Beacon) athletic training staff to develop and implement injury prevention programs and accommodate injured student-athletes to facilitate return to play.
Support education of student-athletes on proper nutrition, sleep, recovery and other healthy living aspects

Help oversee the general maintenance of weight room to ensure it is both safe and impressive for current and prospective Moeller student-athletes.

Research and remain current on developments/certifications in the strength and conditioning field.
