POSITION OBJECTIVE
Working under limited supervision, the Parking and Transportation Operations Administrator will play a key role in supporting the Director of Parking and Transportation Operations in managing the university's approximately 7,000 parking spaces, including 6 parking structures, 20 shuttles approaching $10 million in annual revenue and/or budgets. This role requires a proactive, organized, and strategic administrator to oversee daily operations, manage reporting, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction for extensive parking infrastructure and shuttle systems. The Administrator will be responsible for operational coordination, budget monitoring, policy implementation, and assisting with the management of large teams, all while fostering a customer-centered, efficient, and collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Lead the development and execution of operational strategies for parking and transportation services, ensuring alignment with university-wide initiatives. Collaborate closely with the Director to translate strategic goals into action plans that enhance service delivery across parking garages, surface lots, and shuttle services. Oversee daily operations to maintain seamless traffic flow, effective enforcement, and optimal use of parking systems and resources. Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure the infrastructure remains in excellent condition. (20%)
* Provide strategic input into fee structures and financial planning to promote long-term sustainability of the parking program. (15%)
* Develop, implement, and enforce policies governing parking operations, revenue control, citation issuance, and transportation logistics. Work with the Director to review and refine procedures based on audits, customer feedback, and industry best practices. Ensure full compliance with university standards and regulatory requirements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts through policy updates and enforcement strategies. (10%)
* Provide administrative leadership to various teams including parking enforcement personnel, shuttle drivers, and maintenance staff. Supervise training programs, performance evaluations, and workforce planning to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional service. Foster a collaborative environment that values integrity and professional growth. (10%)
* Direct the planning and execution of parking logistics for major campus events, including performances at venues such as the Maltz Performing Arts Center and Severance Hall. Serve as the primary decision-maker for event-related transportation operations, overseeing staffing, signage, traffic control, and space allocation to ensure smooth and efficient event support. (15%)
* Serve as a senior liaison to students, faculty, staff, and external partners, managing inquiries and resolving escalated issues promptly. Monitor feedback trends and lead initiatives to enhance service quality and responsiveness. Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that all interactions reflect the university's commitment to excellence. (10%)
* Conduct operational audits to evaluate facility functionality, equipment maintenance, and parking system utilization. Prepare audit reports and implement improvements based on findings. Monitor key performance indicators and service benchmarks to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory standards. (10%)
* Represent the Director in meetings and strategic planning sessions with university departments, contractors, and city officials. Lead cross-functional initiatives and partnerships that support the advancement of parking and transportation services. Work with Research and other departments to confirm funding availability and communicate issues promptly. Prepare and process student awards, fellowships, and reimbursements for graduate and undergraduate students, including health fee reimbursements through CWRU s financial system. The Associate Dean of Alumni Relations and Development has primary responsibility to provide the strategic leadership of a comprehensive advancement program for the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing's highest strategic priorities that impact the school's future and national reputation. The associate dean is responsible for leading the national and international leadership gifts program, which includes major and principal gift strategies and opportunities. The associate dean is responsible for the development of overall fundraising plans for the strategic priorities in alignment with the overarching strategies of the nursing school and the university's division of University Relations and Development. As an experienced development professional, the associate dean is expected to engage in direct face-to-face cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors, and collaborate with university relations and development in developing strategies for the university's fundraising, alumni, annual fund and communications programs, and plan and implement initiatives for the nursing school's highest priorities, national and international development, and major and principal gifts, alumni relations programs, and the annual giving program. Position Summary
Under the supervision of the HRIS/Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist (PS) monitors, prepares, and processes payroll for all University employees and submits electronic and manual payroll payment files to the University's financial institution. The Program Manager of Fitness and Wellness Programs will have primary oversight for group fitness, premium fitness, special events, and customized programming across one main facility and multiple satellite facilities. This position will also be responsible for creating and expanding innovative, new programming to enhance the student experience. Secondary responsibilities include assistance with personal training and wellness programming. In addition, the program manager will assist with building campus partnerships and expanding wellness initiatives. The program manager may need to teach group fitness classes, train clients or assist with fitness operations as needed.
A vital component of this position is a demonstrated ability to work autonomously with initiative, critical and creative thinking, as well as a strong commitment to student development, collaboration, and customer service. Additionally, this position has significant financial, administrative and personnel responsibilities.
This position includes the ability for a hybrid work schedule with up to a 20% work from home option.
Essential Functions
* Provide oversight for Fitness and Wellness programs that include group fitness, instructional, premium and custom classes, special events, fitness challenges and incentives, and educational workshop opportunities.
* Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate group fitness and instructional instructors which includes student and contract employees.
* Plan and facilitate regular staff meetings and new hire onboarding for group fitness instructors.
* Create and maintain group fitness and premium fitness class schedules across two facilities with an additional programmable facility space coming to campus fall 2027.
* Coordinate, organize, and promote fitness special events and programs that meet the changing needs of the UC community.
* Assist, as needed, with the oversight of the personal training program.
* Collaborate internally and externally with wellness-centric departments (Food Services, Exercise Science, CAPS, Student Wellness, BeWell UC, etc.) to deliver wellness programming to students and other members.
* Evaluate program offerings using satisfaction/interest surveys and make recommendations that are responsive to participant interests and needs.
* Collaborate and create partnerships with university colleges, departments, or organizations.
* Support and deliver marketing ideas and materials including regular website updates.
* Maintain inventory, upkeep, and replacement of fitness equipment and supplies.
* Teach Group Fitness and/or Personal Trainer prep courses on a semesterly basis.

Required Education
