messy people and managers back then there was this manager named Kelly P she was messy and rude to me like she called me a white b word
discounts and getting in free
lack of leadership
by better environment
they just hired me 2018 and i been there for a while 2018- 2019
I loved the animals. Meeting the visitors was amazing. Loved interacting with them.
A lot of deaths of animals you have to deal with. Management doesn’t care about the schedule of their employees. They would scheduled an intern for the only keeper that would work in the Africa exhibit and not any one else. Management does not like suggestions. They forget to pay us sometimes.
I enjoyed the discounts that we got. Hanging out with the animals was the best.
I did not like them at all. They are very rude and will yell at you in front of the guests.
They need new leadership. The zoo should care more about their employees and their suggestions. They need to remember to pay us.
I practiced interview questions. I made sure I had letters of recommendations, An updated resume, and a cover letter
The compendium is very low to the average. You can not afford to rent and food with the pay
Very limited diverse backgrounds. White people are all keepers and all other backgrounds pick up trash and work at food court.
Personally my most fulfilling part of work was bringing new life into the world.
