Moviehoppers - far too often. Daily almost. Projection rooms are dark and cold and there's a giant projector smack dab in the middle of the room so. Nightmare stories? Man had a heartattack and died in theater 13. Every time someone cleans that alone, they fall and don't know why they fell.
The people I work with, both management and fellow employees are a pleasure to work with. Free movies within reason (if you call off, you can't see a movie that day unless you have a good reason). Discounts while you work. Free movie posters when they die down. There's a lot good with the theater.
Honestly, the wages but I'm pretty sure they can't do much about that. After taxes, as an usher, you're looking at about 6.55 an hour.
The free movies for sure. I save much on date nights!
So, if someone is trying to sneak into another movie after seeing one, and we catch them, we just ask them to leave and they usually do. (or manager gets involved, etc.) If they didn't buy a ticket, 99% of the time they won't make it up to the theaters, we usually catch people trying to sneak upstairs without a ticket.
Us. Luckily I didn't end up a floor leader during the time that was out. But, dildos, condom wrappers and holes in popcorn tubs as well as massage oils and the likes were found.
There's only one manager that no one really cares for. I love all of the other managers and the customers are generally friendly.
Free movies discount food
Time gaps sometimes nothing to do. Late hours long shifts
Free movies getting free tickets
Great staff
Managers who spoke down or belittled other managers and some staff.
Free movies
Its easy work
The managers are all incredibly rude amd the theater itself is in bad condition amd no one does anything about it.
You can get 2 free tickets a day and half off on concessions
I like the experience I’ve gained and authority I have learned to have and enforce.
I do not like the customer service aspect in that company. I do not see myself making a career there.
Watching free movies and getting the newest posters
