What you'll be responsible for As a Principal Product Manager at Circle, you will own the strategy and execution of our risk platform, ensuring it scales to support new products, markets, and global regulatory requirements. You will act as a cross-functional leader, partnering with compliance, legal, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver resilient infrastructure that supports both crypto and traditional financial rails. By combining product vision, technical fluency, and deep compliance expertise, you will enable Circle to manage risk with precision, meet evolving regulatory expectations, and uphold the highest standards of trust and safety. What you'll work on * Design and scale a modular, extensible risk platform that supports crypto- and traditional financial rails, as well as risk-related use cases across onboarding, account linking, and other customer lifecycle events - with a focus on building a user-friendly rules engine and intuitive tooling for risk operators. * Define and implement observability strategies to ensure risk platform integrity, including monitoring performance, validating critical flows, and surfacing key risk indicators to inform prioritization and executive decision-making. * Evolve Circle's travel rule platform to ensure jurisdictional coverage, interoperability, and seamless integration with internal systems and partner networks. * Leverage AI/ML to automate risk decisioning and operational processes; lead feature/context engineering, model development, evaluation/monitoring frameworks. * Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of platform design, functionality, and dependencies to ensure internal transparency and audit readiness. * Translate regulatory requirements and business needs into clear product requirements, insights, and user stories for engineering execution. * Represent the risk platform in senior leadership and regulatory forums, aligning cross-functional strategy and demonstrating how Circle's infrastructure meets evolving compliance obligations at scale. What you'll bring to Circle Core Requirements * 10+ years of product management experience building risk, compliance, or trust & safety platforms in fintech, crypto, or financial services. * Deep expertise in fraud, AML, sanctions screening, and onboarding compliance (e.g., KYC/KYB), with hands-on experience crafting risk rules based on real-world typologies. * Track record of translating regulatory requirements into scalable, policy-driven platform capabilities that support both real-time and asynchronous risk decisioning across crypto and fiat rails. * Experience leading modular platform design, including refactoring monolithic services into scalable, service-oriented architectures. * Skilled in collaborating with engineering, data science, and operations teams to ship complex infrastructure products; able to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions. * Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience applying ML, risk signals, and scoring models to improve detection, decisioning, and operational efficiency. * Strong technical fluency, including working knowledge of APIs, event-driven architectures like SNS/SQS or equivalent, SQL, GitHub or equivalent. Preferred Requirements * Background in RegTech, banking, or scaled fintech, with direct exposure to complex regulatory environments. * Expertise in blockchain technologies and crypto compliance, including chain types, on-chain travel rule requirements, blockchain monitoring, and evolving crypto regulations. * Experience with rapid prototyping using AI tools to accelerate product exploration, workflow automation, or internal tooling development.     Our client is moving from Blue Stream Health which is a virtual care platform (PaaS) to eVisit and they need someone who can meet with clinicians, doctors, nurses to understand there needs and then translate that into requirements for the vendor, to be that in between translator. In addition, they will be running test plans, tracking fixes and helping with training materials. They are in the middle of the project and when this person is onboarded, part of they getting caught up to sped will be to understand the workflows for Blue Stream and eVisit. March or May will be the go-live. Notes from our call with the Director A few details about what this role would be responsible for: • The role will largely focus on migrating our current telehealth workflows from an older platform currently in use, to a new platform. • The associate will need to gain an understanding of our current workflows and what the workflows will look like on the new platform, so that they can effectively lead change management in the migration. • The associate will regularly interface with our vendor platform, eVisit. They will be responsible for communicating our user needs to the vendor, planning and participating in testing sessions, and the creation of training materials. • The associate will regularly interface with MedStar IS regarding their involvement with integrations and security review. • We are looking for a Product Manager and someone who brings a technical perspective, but this role does require a level of project management as well - tracking implementation timelines, progress, risks, communication plans, etc. Some key attributes we are looking for: • Strong documentation and communication skills - someone who can regularly speak to and report out on the progress of multiple projects • High level of organization and attention to detail - someone who can keep a large project with many dependencies on track • Experience in healthcare and/or healthcare technology - comfort speaking with technology vendors and healthcare professionals, someone who can think through the implications of changes in clinical workflows • A team player - this associate will be a part of an initiative that is a large "all hands on deck" effort The JD provided from the client-similar but some additional details. In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Business Development, Communications and Marketing teams to bring new liquidity solutions to market and strengthen Circle's position as the leading global stablecoin network. You'll be responsible for defining product positioning, crafting go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and executing high-impact launches that drive awareness, adoption, and usage across key customer segments. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, marketers, and customer-facing teams to develop, position, and launch products globally. * Drive go-to-market excellence, including market validation, messaging, positioning, and launch execution to maximize adoption and impact. * Develop data-driven insights that inform and refine product and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. * Craft compelling narratives and packaging to drive customer engagement, differentiation, and long-term growth. * Empower sales & partnerships by creating training programs, customer-facing content, and partner enablement assets that support revenue and adoption. * Lead competitive intelligence efforts, providing in-depth analysis and strategic positioning to ensure Circle stays ahead of the competition. * Steer high-impact strategic initiatives, driving cross-functional projects that shape the company's direction and market influence. Key Qualifications & Attributes: * Growth mindset & agility: You approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow. You are comfortable with change and bring structure to ambiguity through thoughtful prioritization and rapid execution. * Domain knowledge: 5+ years of experience across traditional finance, payments, DeFi, or crypto, with a demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up in new industries and apply insight to product and go-to-market strategies. * Blockchain & fintech understanding: Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals, including how stablecoins, payments infrastructure, or crypto rails work in practice. You can translate technical concepts into customer value and are eager to deepen your expertise. * 7+ years of relevant product marketing experience, including at least 2 years in crypto, payments, or financial services. You've owned product launches, GTM planning, and customer-facing narratives. * Customer-centric, technical storyteller: You excel at turning complexity into clarity, developing positioning and messaging that resonate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. You're confident presenting to diverse audiences and crafting materials that move business forward. * Proactive team player: You work well independently and thrive in small, collaborative teams. You are proactive in identifying what needs to be done, communicating clearly, and driving cross-functional execution. * Cross-functional Collaboration: You build strong cross-functional relationships to align on priorities, unblock execution, and deliver seamless customer experiences across product, sales, and marketing touchpoints. * Strategic Thinking: Your partner with product to shape roadmap priorities by synthesizing market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback within a focused domain.
